The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has been told by everyone that she looks like the late Hilary Hamilton (Morgan’s first role on the show). According to buzz, it appears as though the question about whether they are connected, or not will soon be answered.
There are many scenarios that could be presented. Considerations including how the outcome best plays into current storylines and longterm arcs have already been made by Y&R’s writing staff. So, viewers will may soon see what Amanda’s backstory origin is.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rose Turner Gave Her Other Twin Amanda Up For Adoption?
It would be easy for Amanda to learn that she was given up for adoption by Rose Turner (Leslie Stevens). This character is deceased and was played by Stevens in a retrospective role that included Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). So, a reveal that involves her directly could also include further flashback scenes, or be learned through a living connection, or some type of legal documents.
Amanda just recently mentioned Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), her former boyfriend who’s in prison for stabbing Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle). The fact that his name and Rose’s are the same appears to have been a foreshadowing signal to the audience.
So, maybe, if Hilary and Amanda are twin sisters, they weren’t given up for adoption, but were adopted by Rose?
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Who Was Hilary Hamilton’s Mother?
Assume that Rose isn’t Hilary’s biological mother. In that instance, Y&R could have a new character become the mother of the twins.
Alternatively, an existing, or historical character could be revealed as having given both girls up for adoption at birth. Possibly the link to Neil comes into play again, with Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) being the mother?
That event would have taken place before the character was on-screen, with a teenage Dru giving the girls up for adoption. That reveal would also make Hilary and Amanda older than their half-sister, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Of course Rowell’s potential return would be teased through this type of storyline as well.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Is An Only Child?
Instead of the above projections, Amanda could simply be revealed as an only child. Yes, she looks exactly like Hilary. But other than that eerier resemblance, there is no biological connection.
This outcome might split the audience more deeply than having Amanda and Hilary actually be sisters, as some fans might think that eventual reveal would be written in at a later point anyway.
