Young And The Restless Spoilers – Delia Abbott Storyline Revisited
How many times has Y&R mined the Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) storyline that was originally shown in the fall of 2013? Rather often, to be inexact.
One interesting revisit happened last year, when Billy developed a second personality. Fans had access to his internal conversations and frantic behavior.
Eventually Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) saved Billy in the Chancellor boat house, where his mind broke from reality with Delia’s grown ghost (Lauren Lindsey Donzis) chiding her father. The casting of Donzis was noteworthy, as it elevated Billy’s connection with his deceased daughter, who he’d interacted with various times through the years.
The current plot is playing out because Billy believes that he came to grips with Adam’s role in Delia’s death through last year’s events and isn’t operating on a grudge. Instead, he used Chance Com’s platform in order to serve the public’s best interests, with Adam being an unjailed menace.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman’s Preemptive Strike
Adam knows that Billy plans to keep going. Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria DiDomenico) story damaged Adam, which was the intent. But Billy intended that piece to be the first in a series, with intel about Las Vegas, Nevada, still needing to be detailed.
Grossman’s character knows that more than his reputation is at stake. If Billy is able to piece together enough information, Adam and possibly, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) could be arrested and jailed. They didn’t report the death of man Adam supposedly killed in self-defense, as he was protecting Chance’s life, which leaves both men vulnerable.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Was The Real Target
Wouldn’t it be just like Adam to orchestrate an event where someone shot at him, but missed, and then Billy was made to look like the person who was trying to take him out? Yes.
Billy didn’t expect to become the leading suspect in this unsolved crime. But his conversations at Chance Com indicate that he’s taking this threat seriously and also that he’s not guilty, but will have to fight to prove it.
