The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) should move forward with his love life eventually. Y&R fans know Billy had a strange friendship with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), which they both struggled to understand. There was certainly a deep connection between them, which led to a kiss before Amanda insisted they should just stay pals.
It seems like maybe Billy’s just too tangled up in all the Ripley Turner (Christian Reyes) drama in Amanda’s mind. If Billy hadn’t crashed the Newman gala that night, Amanda wouldn’t have followed him. Ripley also wouldn’t have been there to confuse Amanda for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in the dark.
It’s easy to see why Amanda would want a clean break from Billy, no matter what she might feel for him deep down. Now that Amanda and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) have started dating, perhaps it’ll be Billy’s turn to move on in new Y&R episodes.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) seems like Billy’s top romantic contender, so where’s this storyline headed next?
Billy may spend a little more time bonding with Lily at work, but it’s reasonable to assume Billy may ask Lily on a date sooner or later. That might even be something Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) encourages. Jill seems to view Lily as a stable influence in Billy’s life, so she may think they’d be a good match.
Would you like to see a cute first date for Billy and Lily? The Young and the Restless could probably come up with something fun for these two to do outside, which would be great since that’s mostly where the show’s shooting right now.
Lily and Billy have an easy-breezy vibe anyway, so this would be a chance to do something different and kick their romance off right.
Of course, Billy and Lily’s dating adventures could get messy since they also run Chancellor’s media division together. Mixing business with pleasure doesn’t always end well, but Lily and Billy should still give things a shot!
Any sizzling summer romance starts with a first date, so maybe that’s coming up for Billy and Lily in new Y&R episodes.
