The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) have a complicated romance ahead of them. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) warned Lily to keep her guard up with Billy, who can be impulsive and unpredictable.
Billy’s a born risk-taker, so Victoria feels like Lily needs to be cautious.
Lily certainly needs to protect Chancellor Communications, but she needs to protect her heart, too. On October 30, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will instigate some steaminess in The Grand Phoenix elevator.
However, there’s a good chance Lily will pump the brakes later – especially once Billy inevitably starts testing boundaries in the workplace.
Once Billy gets a little taste of Lily, Y&R spoilers say he may be ready to move this romance along quickly. Lily, on the other hand, should struggle with doubts. She may let Victoria get inside her head – and Billy’s volatile behavior isn’t going to help.
Nevertheless, Billy has proven that he can be pretty determined when it comes to the women he wants. Back when Billy was set on reuniting with Victoria, she insisted she wanted to take things slow.
What did Billy do? He proposed! Billy tends to be pushy when he gets fixated on something – and a future with Lily may become Billy’s next obsession.
Will Billy end up popping the question as a way to show how committed he is? Billy might argue that he can be the husband Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) wasn’t.
Billy may argue that Lily’s marriage to Cane was wrong in so many ways. Billy might feel like he’s just the man to treat Lily right and show her what true love can feel like.
Of course, Billy will probably do this way too fast and come on way too strong. We wouldn’t be surprised if Billy proposed by the end of the year considering how he usually operates!
Even if the answer is no, Lily might be touched and find the gesture charming. It could be a fun way to highlight the romantic side of Billy’s risk-taking.
