The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) could use something to cause some drama in their relationship. No couple enjoys smooth sailing forever on a soap! Chance and Abby have been living in their own personal dreamland, but someone might come along and burst their bubble.
How would you feel about a new Y&R love triangle? Would you like to see a romantic interloper make a few waves for Chance and Abby? The Young and the Restless seemed like they might be taking that route when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was sniffing around Chance. However, that was really just about riling Abby up and finding out the big Vegas secret.
Phyllis is now in a relationship with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is a good backup option once “Phick” implodes. Maybe we should look elsewhere for someone to vie for Chance’s attention.
What about Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)? Victoria’s single and might be looking for love on new Y&R episodes. Since Abby and Victoria are sisters, it’d be fun to revive their sibling rivalry with this storyline.
Perhaps Chance could help with some new security installations at Newman Enterprises and bond with Victoria in the process. If Victoria and Chance inadvertently got trapped thanks to the added security measures, that’d be ever better. Anything that forces Chance and Victoria to be alone together could bring them closer.
It wouldn’t hurt to throw Victoria in the mix and see what happens. Chance and Victoria might work! Abby could stand to have some competition for Chance’s heart – just for drama’s sake. Victoria doesn’t have a ton of options on canvas, so a sister love interest battle might be an intriguing way to take things.
