The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will face a difficult blow soon, but let’s set the stage for disaster first. As Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) wedding looms, Adam will find himself longing for her on some level.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may play a big role in that since she’ll remind Adam that he’s been torn between his two great loves in the past.
Of course, we’re talking about Sharon and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Adam constantly seems to bounce back and forth between these two women. He loves Sharon for seeing the good in him and Chelsea for accepting the bad.
Adam has some great reasons to be drawn to both Sharon and Chelsea due to all the history he shares with them.
However, Adam has recommitted to Chelsea and plans on having a bright future with her. Unfortunately, a couple of major obstacles could land in Adam and Chelsea’s way. Although Adam will be drawn to Sharon before her nuptials, he may battle guilt about that later.
That’s because New Year’s Eve will also bring a major medical crisis for Chelsea. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will have to be rushed to the hospital following a sudden, tragic setback.
Chelsea’s brain aneurysm will be the culprit threatening death as Adam fears the worst. There should be some panicked moments where Adam feels like he’s going to lose Chelsea forever.
Naturally, this presents the possibility that Chelsea will land in a coma. Y&R spoilers say Adam will be a train wreck over Chelsea’s crisis, but that could once again leave him torn about Sharon.
Adam will have to decide if he’ll focus solely on Chelsea or allow Sharon to comfort him. Since Sharon will soon be a married woman if all goes well, you can see the potential for trouble!
