The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that fatherhood may be in Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) future. Back when Kyle was married to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), they had plenty of conversations about their family’s future.
Kyle definitely envisioned kids running around the house – and Lola even had a pregnancy scare at one point.
Once Kyle divorced Lola and got together with Summer Newman (Hunter King), that brought more talk of kids and a new “Skyle” family. The Young and the Restless has laid the groundwork for Kyle to be a dad sooner rather than later. It’s just a matter who Kyle’s “baby mama” will be!
Y&R is currently offering three love interest options for Kyle: Summer, Lola and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Naturally, Kyle would have to sleep with one or more of them to put a potential bun in the oven, but it only takes one time – one fleeting moment of weakness.
A single hookup could change Kyle’s life forever since unplanned pregnancies happen often on soaps. If Kyle were to surrender to old temptation and fall back into bed with Lola, he’d be proving Summer right about not being over her.
If Lola wound up pregnant, that would certainly be a tough hurdle for Summer to ever get past.
However, Lola doesn’t seem to be in Kyle’s orbit all that much anymore. The Young and the Restless seems to be focusing on Summer and Sally, so we should focus on them, too. Sally is quite a schemer and even planned to trick her last love interest into getting her pregnant on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Could Kyle become Sally’s next target and fall prey to this familiar strategy? That’s a possibility to consider since it’d be in line with Sally’s usual stunts. We wouldn’t be surprised if Sally tried to get pregnant with an Abbott heir and used it to manipulate her career path.
Of course, many “Skyle” fans are holding out hope that Summer will be the one who bears Kyle’s firstborn. They really are a great match, so giving Kyle and Summer a baby could help them move past all the insecurities and go all in on their future together.
