General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, November 17 Recap – Cyrus Learns Taggert’s Alive – Chase & Sasha’s Lie Revealed – Nik Covers For Ava

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 17, reveal that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) were discussing getting an appointment with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) when Cameron Webber (William Lipton) walked into the room and noticed that something was wrong.

Franco revealed that he had an inoperable brain tumor, and Cameron was clearly upset but he tried to be strong as he left to go study with his friends.

Over at the Metro Court, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) got on the elevator and talked briefly about what Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was about to tell Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) before he was stabbed.

Ava played dumb, while Nikolas found the whole situation interesting.

At the Corinthos house, Sonny came home and found Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) holding the half-heart pendant. Sonny wondered what Carly was doing with Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) lucky necklace, and Carly said that she was getting the clasp fixed for Avery.

Talk quickly turned to Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) drug overdose, and Carly assumed that Sasha had taken cocaine.

Out on the terrace, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) were studying for the SATs when Dev Corbin aka Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) wanted to join them.

Trina and Josslyn said no and froze Dev out for the horrible things he said recently to them both. Dev apologized, but Trina and Josslyn continues to give him a hard time.

Cameron appeared and told Trina and Josslyn to leave Dev alone. Trina and Josslyn said that they reserved the right to be upset after what Dev said before.

Cameron said that they shouldn’t waste time staying mad at each other, clearly thinking about Franco, and after Josslyn and Trina left, Dev thanked Cameron for defending him.

Back inside the house, Ava and Nikolas stopped by to get Avery, and Nikolas got a call and stepped away. Sonny took the opportunity to needle Ava about what happened to Ryan, asking if she was the one who tried to have him killed and openly wondering why Ryan would want to see him out of the blue.

Suddenly, Nicholas walked in and told Sonny to back off and that HE was the one who ordered the hit on Ryan.

At the hospital, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) lamented to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) about Sasha’s overdose. Chase looked guilty, and Willow said that Sasha was still in love with Michael, and she stepped away for a moment alone.

Meanwhile, at the nurses’ station, Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) discussed a young male patient who had just died of a drug overdose. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) overheard the exchange from afar.

Once Portia walked away, Jason approached Britt wanting to know what caused Sasha’s overdose.

Britt lamented about how Port Charles didn’t use to be so overrun with drugs, and she doubted that Jason and Sonny really cared given the nature of their business.

Jason explained about Stone Cates (Michael Sutton), who was like a brother to Sonny, and whose life was cut short because he slept with a girl who was a drug user. Jason explained that drugs weren’t a part of Sonny’s business.

Jason also told Britt that drugs were coming into Port Charles through the hospital thanks to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Britt thought that Jason really took a chance in coming to her – after all, she might run right to Cyrus.

While all this was going on, some guy pretending to be a doctor lurked around the nurses station. Suddenly, Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) whisked the guy into an exam room, and it turned out to be Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).

Epiphany demanded to know what Taggert was doing, and he explained that he was trailing Portia and Trina to keep them safe.

Epiphany understood, and she mentioned her son Stan Johnson (Kiko Ellsworth), who was caught up in mob violence and didn’t make it out alive. Epiphany didn’t want Trina to wind up like Stan, and Taggert thanked Epiphany for caring and for saving his life.

Epiphany encouraged Taggert to get out of the hospital and out of Port Charles.

Back with Willow, Chase tracked her down and listened as Willow went on about how she should have told Michael earlier that Sasha was still in love with him.

Willow blamed herself for Sasha’s overdose, and Chase said that Willow was wrong and that she had zero blame. “It was a setup, a lie. I never cheated on you,” Chase said.

Meanwhile, Carly found Michael outside of Sasha’s room, and he was blaming himself for Sasha’s condition. Portia came along and said that Michael was still listed as Sasha’s next of kin, and that she was stabilized and that the next few days would be critical.

Michael went in and talked softly to Sasha, and Carly started feeling guilty, then she told Michael that Sasha didn’t sleep with Chase.

At Charlie’s Pub, Cyrus told Julian Jerome (William deVry) that it was time to settle accounts. Cyrus whipped out Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) letter to Ryan, and Julian realized he had no choice but to do what Cyrus wanted.

Cyrus said that Jason needed to be taken out, and that a package would arrive shortly with instructions on where to drop it off.

Cyrus made an explosion sound, indicating that the package would be an explosive device. Julian didn’t like that, and he said that perhaps he could offer Cyrus something else.

Cyrus was getting irritated at this point, but Julian persisted, saying that Sonny and Jason were keeping something from Cyrus…about Taggert.

Julian said that they had a new deal, and that if he told Cyrus what he knew, then their debt would be cleared. “I’m done playing games,” Cyrus barked. “Taggert’s alive. I know that for a fact,” Julian said.
