The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 28, teases that a complex and emotional moment’s coming up for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). This will probably involve their finalized divorce as well as Lola’s budding romance with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson).
Things will be rather charged between Lola and Kyle, so they’ll be feeling a lot in their upcoming scenes. Just because they parted ways doesn’t mean they stopped caring about each other. At the same time, they did indeed part ways – and that means it’s time to move on.
The topic of Kyle and Summer Newman (Hunter King) officially living together might even come up. Although Lola’s chosen to take the high road, there are some deep wounds here. Kyle hates that he hurt Lola and doesn’t want to see her get hurt again, so he may remain a bit wary when it comes to Theo.
Despite Kyle’s attempt to make peace, Theo’s always going to be a wildcard – and those are dangerous when you’re dealing with someone like Lola, who’s been through enough as it is.
Kyle might once again make some protective comments, but Lola’s sure to think she can take care of herself. It sounds like Kyle and Lola’s upcoming scenes may be poignant one minute and perhaps tense the next.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have victory on her mind. Y&R fans know The Grand Phoenix recently had a test run of their new escape club for women. The night was a huge success and scored Phyllis several new members, but there’s more work to be done.
Although his project’s a big undertaking, Phyllis will remain confident. She’ll have that same attitude on Friday even if challenges pop up.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will think this is going to be huge for The Grand Phoenix, so she’ll buckle up for her own wild ride!
