The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 9, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will approach Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) with a peace offering. Victor will hope that Victoria accepts his olive branch so they can heal their relationship and start moving forward.
Nevertheless, the real problem here still hasn’t been resolved. Victoria feels like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is Victor’s favorite, so she’s tired of Victor constantly coddling Adam and making excuses for him.
Even so, Victoria does love her problematic father. This tension between them can’t last forever, so Victoria may have to accept that Victor isn’t going to change. She may have to decide if she can love Victor despite his need to put Adam first.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will get an offer that piques her interest. Someone will reach out to Lily with an intriguing pitch – and we all know Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is the queen of intriguing pitches! Could this be Phyllis’ plan to fight back against Victoria?
In Thursday’s Y&R episode, Victoria goes behind Phyllis back and winds up owning 75 percent of The Grand Phoenix. However, Phyllis has no intention of giving up HER hotel.
She’s been down this road with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and came out on top until this loan situation came along, so she’ll plan to defeat Victoria, too.
On Friday, maybe Phyllis will pitch a story that could launch a scandal for Victoria – though she may not frame it that way to Lily. Victor has warned Victoria that he’ll strip her of power if she does damage to the company, so it’s a bad idea to have Phyllis working against her.
Of course, there’s a chance someone else will pitch a big idea to Lily, but the point is she’ll seriously consider a new proposal. It’s bound to cause trouble for someone!
Speaking of trouble, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is in plenty of it. She’s been battling a guilty conscience ever since she slept with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so that guilt will continue in Friday’s episode.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will be tempted to make a full confession. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will remain as sweet and loving as ever, so Elena will deal with major remorse and consider coming clean.
We all know that’d be too easy though! This is a soap, so Elena has to keep the secret and let this story build to a more exciting conclusion. Elena will indeed keep her mouth shut, but Devon will still pick up on some odd behavior.
Since Elena will be acting so off, Devon will decide to confront Nate and see what he knows within the next episode or two.
