The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) may be forced to choose when new Y&R episodes return. Lola’s wanted to open her own restaurant ever since she was a little girl, so that led to her planning a new one in Miami. However, there have already been problems at the site where Lola wants to build and eventually open.
Before Y&R shut down production, Lola dashed off to deal with those construction site issues. What happens once The Young and the Restless finally airs fresh content again?
It seems like Lola may have a bit too much on her plate. Lola’s got a steady chef job at Society, and now she’s throwing this new restaurant in the mix. Where does Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) fit in all of that?
At some point soon, Lola may have to decide whether she has time for a romance with Theo or not. It’s possible this Miami restaurant dream will be a bust, which could leave Lola’s schedule wide open for Theo.
Lola might even get better at juggling things as time goes on, which could open the door to the relationship Theo’s craving.
However, it’s also possible Lola will choose to bail on Society, Theo and even Genoa City. Lola may realize she needs to put all her energy into making her dream a reality.
If this restaurant is what’s most important to Lola, then Theo may just have to accept that and move on. It all depends on what direction Y&R wants to take this story in when new episodes start back up.
Of course, there are plenty of fish in the sea if Lola breaks Theo’s heart. The Young and the Restless might have another love interest in mind for Theo sooner or later. It’ll certainly be interesting to see what’s in store for Lola and Theo as the show gets back in action.
