The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, December 28, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have a heated showdown.
From where Nick’s standing, it’ll seem like Victoria’s still taunting Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and making trouble. Nick won’t get why Victoria refuses to leave Phyllis alone, but Victoria will no doubt feel like Phyllis gives as good as she gets.
As for Phyllis, she’ll have a run-in with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) early in the week. Phyllis is no stranger to taunting herself – especially when it comes to Adam.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will bring up their better halves, but she’ll act confused about who Adam’s better half is supposed to be – Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) or Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Adam will make it clear that he’s committed to Chelsea, but Phyllis will successfully push his buttons. When it comes to Adam, Sharon’s always going to hold a special place in his heart. There’s a bond between Adam and Sharon that’s tough to break.
As Sharon’s New Year’s Eve wedding approaches, Adam will certainly think back on the past and perhaps feel like Sharon’s making a mistake. Adam will also have to decide how far he’ll go to do something about that.
In the meantime, Sharon will stick with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and insist she’s ready for marriage. Sharon will reaffirm her commitment to Rey and will claim she can’t wait to become his wife, but this Adam issue will come up for her again soon. It seems like Adam is always going to be a problem for “Shey,” but this is really a trust problem, too.
Other Y&R spoilers say Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will do a little more digging into her birth mother’s background. In the December 24 episode, Amanda takes a ride to Naya Benedict’s (Ptosha Storey) house and is prepared to meet her.
That plan is derailed when Amanda spots Naya embracing her other grown daughter, Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose).
After Amanda meets back up with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) on Monday, she’ll divulge what else she’s learned about Naya and Imani. Unfortunately, Amanda’s new discovery will only leave her more furious.
It sounds like Imani has been given plenty of opportunities and was quite loved, so Amanda will once again struggle with this sense of abandonment.
