The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 21, tease that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have a bad feeling about where things are headed between Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Devon told Amanda he’d given her all the info he could offer on Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan).
To offer anything more could open up old wounds – and that’s just not a road Devon wants to head down again. Devon fought a long, hard battle with grief, so he’s not interested in sinking back down to the depths of despair.
However, Elena knows Devon is a good man who wants to be helpful at his core. There are other people who Amanda can talk to about Hilary, but Devon was closest to her.
It’s only natural for Amanda to be curious – and it’s even more natural for her to want to hear this information specifically from Devon. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena just won’t be able to shake her concerns.
She’ll fret over Devon and Amanda’s connection growing based on the twin confirmation, so Elena seems to fear cheating or that Devon will leave her entirely.
From where Elena’s standing, she sees the potential for total “Elevon” destruction. Devon will continue to reassure Elena – and so will Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) at some point soon.
Sadly, Elena may be her own worst enemy. Her insecurities could cause more issues than Amanda and Devon’s bond itself.
In the meantime, let’s talk about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) mutual bold move. Within the next couple episodes, Summer and Kyle will pop the question to each other in the park.
There’ll be some sweet “Skyle” moments as Kyle and Summer formally agree to wed, so look for Summer to score some new bling.
This Y&R engagement won’t stay a secret for long thanks to the ring, which Summer will wear on a necklace. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will prove she’s an observant mom, so there’ll be some hot drama happening early this week.
