The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will work hard to prove Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) innocence. If that means proving Victor Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) guilt in framing Billy, then so be it!
However, Victor’s hands actually seem to be clean for once. Lily may be barking up the wrong tree, but at least she’ll do whatever she can to help Billy. Seeing this level of loyalty may make Victor respect Lily even more.
Victor is someone who expects Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to stand by him in their relationship. Perhaps Victor could see the potential for Lily to be a loyal Newman supporter, too. After all, Victor has dropped hints about Lily being too good for Billy.
Could Victor find himself supporting a new match for Lily down the road – someone he views as far better than Billy? What about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)?
Y&R already established a rivalry between Billy and Nick, so it’d be great to see that rev up again. It could certainly happen if Nick and Billy become rivals for Lily’s affection.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say despite Victor and Lily’s disagreement on Billy and this setup, Victor will continue to view her as a woman of integrity. Victor just might consider Lily the perfect match for Nick, especially after she proves she knows how to stand by her man!
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) hates Victor’s guts and has already had some problems with Nick lately. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that more could be in “Phick’s” future thanks to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
It looks like Victoria could make this war personal by trying to tear Nick and Phyllis apart – and she just might succeed.
If so, Nick’s going to need a new love interest. Lily would be a fantastic option that would create more conflict with Billy and perhaps please Victor in the process. How would you feel about a Nick and Lily romance down the road? Could Lily be paired up with Nick after his inevitable “Phick” split?
Billy has a tendency to sabotage all of his romances, so there’s no need to worry about his current one lasting forever! Lily will likely need a new love interest of her own sooner or later, so Nick seems like he’d be a good fit.
