The Young and the Restless Spoilers Recap: Monday, November 23 - Sally Betrays Theo - Shooter Used Billy’s Gun - Mariah Surprise

The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Monday, November 23, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will charge into Crimson Lights to ask Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) about Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) whereabouts.

Sharon will reveal that she and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had Adam placed in a mental health facility, and Chelsea will explode, calling Sharon cruel and jealous of her relationship with Adam.

Sharon will say that’s ridiculous, and she’ll insist that Adam needs help, since he kidnapped Chelsea and planned to commit a horrible crime against the Newman family.

Sharon will say that there’s nothing that Chelsea can do since Adam’s on a court-mandated 72-hour hold. Chelsea will tell Sharon that she’s going to regret what she’s done.

At the facility, Adam will meet with a doctor, but Adam will start ranting about his father wanting to punish him, and he’ll come across sounding paranoid as he demands to be released.

Meanwhile, over at the Abbott mansion, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that he’s a suspect in Chance Chancellor’s (Justin Gaston) shooting. Once alone, Billy will call a source at the GCPD and learn something interesting about the investigation.

At Society, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will find out from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that Summer Newman (Hunter King) is the person who will be leading Jabot Collective (JCV).

After making a comment about Summer’s engagement to Kyle, Kyle will tell Sally to forget about JCV and that she’ll still be able to make her mark at Fenmore’s.

Later, Sally will meet with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), who will press Sally for information on how the Abbotts will counter his lawsuit against them. Theo will be a little too bossy, which Sally won’t appreciate.

Theo will make it clear that he’ll only give Sally dirt on Summer if she comes through for him. Sally will leave to go find out what she can.

At Jabot, Summer will reminisce about working at Jabot with Kyle, then later Kyle will arrive, and he’ll reveal that he’s planning on asking Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) to take Summer’s position at Jabot.

Kyle will wish Summer the best, but she’ll seem reluctant to go. After Summer goes, Jack will return, followed by a woman who will serve them papers.

Kyle and Jack will be horrified to find out that Theo’s suing them for Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) entire estate. Jack will be angry and disappointed, and Kyle will rant about how they should have kept Theo on the outside where he belonged.

Sally will be at the door, having overheard that last remark. Later, when Jack’s in the room alone, Sally will come in to tell Jack that Theo’s been trying to convince her to spy on him and the rest of the Abbott family concerning a lawsuit.

Jack will be grateful to Sally for telling him about the situation. Sally will suggest that they could feed Theo bad information, but Jack will want to let this play out in the courts.

At the Grand Phoenix, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will visit with Chance in his suite. Rey will say that the DNA from the earbud found at the crime scene matches the earbud found in Billy’s briefcase.

Chance won’t like that, and Rey will say that they have Billy’s DNA on file from a DUI in 2015. Chance will say that even if it is a match, it’s not enough to arrest Billy. Rey will say that they need the gun.

Rey will then head over to Chancellor Communications, where he’ll talk with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) briefly about Billy. Lily will insist that the “old Billy” who was consumed with revenge doesn’t exist anymore.

Later, Billy will return and talk with Lily, sharing that he found out that Rey is running his DNA. Lily will mention that Rey was there earlier and that she defended Billy to him.

Billy and Lilly will flirt a little, and Billy will suggest that perhaps they can go on a date now that Billy’s not working at Chancellor Communications. Lily will agree, and after a little more flirting, Billy will take off.

Back at Crimson Lights, Sharon will talk with Mariah, who will share that they scored Society for a wedding venue on New Year’s Eve. Sharon will leave, and Kyle will come in and gripe about Theo’s lawsuit to Mariah, then he’ll ask her to take Summer’s job at Jabot.

Mariah will be shocked, but she’ll definitely be interested in the position.

Back at the Grand Phoenix, Victor will arrive to see Chelsea in her suite. Chelsea will grump at Victor about Adam’s commitment, and she’ll beg Victor to have Adam released.

Victor will refuse, and Chelsea will accuse Victor of trying to break Adam, then rebuild him as the son he wants. Victor will balk at that, and he’ll refuse to tell Chelsea where Adam is being held.

Down in the lobby, Billy will arrive to find Rey waiting for him. Rey will say that they found the gun used to shoot Chance in a dumpster outside of Chancellor Communications, and that the gun is registered to Billy.

Back at Society, Kyle will find Theo at the bar and he’ll tell Theo that he’ll never win the lawsuit. Kyle and Theo will argue over familiar issues, and things will be getting heated when Summer rushes in and asks what’s going on.

Theo will say that he was just leaving, and after Theo goes, Summer will learn about the lawsuit. Summer will urge Kyle not to let Theo provoke him.
