The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Monday, October 26, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will talk with an associate via phone from his penthouse. Adam will say that they have a problem and that things didn’t go according to plan.
Meanwhile, over at Crimson Lights, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will make small talk with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) on the patio, and after catching up with Lily, Kevin will head to the coffee bar where he’ll needle Adam about the exposé.
Adam will leave in a huff, and Kevin will happily help himself to Adam’s coffee order.
At Chancellor Communications, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be talking coparenting with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) when Victoria gets an alert saying that there is an intrusion at her home while the kids and nanny are there.
Billy and Victoria will take off, and they’ll return a short time later having secured the kids at the ranch. As it turns out, no one will have been found on the property, and Billy will suspect that it was Adam.
Billy and Victoria will be bickering about whether Billy should do an exposé part two when Lily arrives and agrees with Victoria that a second exposé shouldn’t be done.
Billy will get a text and learn that Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) is long gone and not coming back to Genoa City, and Lily will think that closes the issue.
After Victoria leaves, Lily and Billy will be working and the topic of the second exposé will come up again. Lily will be exasperated and wonder what it will take for Billy to drop this.
Billy will say there’s one way, and Lily will blush. Billy will joke that “that’s not what I meant,” and Lily and Billy will have a cute conversation about how they’re friends and colleagues and it needs to stay that way.
In Chancellor Park, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will be enjoying the day with little Miles Fisher when Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) arrives and gives Chloe the bad news that their last investor pulled out of the fashion line.
Chelsea will also disclose that she and Adam are finished, and Chloe will be thrilled, but still she’ll offer Chelsea comfort.
Chelsea will tell Chloe the whole story about how Adam really wants Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and Chloe will be appalled. Adam will soon arrive and try to talk with Chelsea, but Chelsea will give him the brush off and leave.
Chloe will then corner Adam, going on about how the exposé was enlightening and that he’s rotten to the core. Chloe will have her say and leave.
At the Chancellor mansion, Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) will pester Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) for photos of baby Miles, and when Esther steps out of the room, Gloria will retrieve a flash drive from a vase and put it in a box on the sofa table.
Later, Gloria will be alone and on the phone, telling someone that they won’t pin it on her this time, when Kevin enters and overhears.
Kevin will question his mother, but she’ll pretend to be indignant at his questioning, and she’ll say that she’s leaving Genoa City and going back to Los Angeles. Kevin will be exasperated, and later he’ll tell Chloe about his mother’s phone conversation.
Chloe will think that Kevin should talk to his mom again, but he won’t, and soon Gloria will come downstairs with her luggage and make a grand exit, leaving the flash drive in the box on the table.
Back at Crimson Lights, Chelsea will be sipping coffee when Victoria walks in wanting to talk about the break in at her house. Victoria will basically accuse Chelsea of breaking in to try to see Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare), but Chelsea will explain that’s not the case and that she just got back into town.
Victoria will then assume that Adam broke in to go after Johnny for Chelsea, but Chelsea will reveal that she left Adam.
Finally, back in Chancellor Park, Adam will be on the phone griping to someone who got caught trailing Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Billy will walk up and bluster to Adam about leaving Victoria and the kids alone.
Adam won’t know what Billy’s talking about, and Billy will tell Adam about the break in. Adam will insist that he didn’t do it.
Billy won’t buy it, and Adam will fight back, saying that maybe Billy’s next exposé should be about himself and all the things he’s gotten away with. Adam will say that all this is about it Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) and how Billy can’t get over it.
Billy will balk, saying that Adam doesn’t know what regret feels like, but if he ever goes near the kids, then he’ll know the true meaning of the word. Chelsea will walk up and overhear this threat.
