The Young and the Restless Spoilers Review: Friday, November 13 – Kyle Fights for Summer’s Heart - Adam Begs Chelsea’s Forgiveness

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers review for Friday, November 13, reveals some conflict’s going down at the Chancellor mansion. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) arms herself with a candlestick and rants at Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for kidnapping her.

Adam apologizes and insists he won’t hurt Chelsea, but she wonders why she should believe him. Chelsea yells that she thought she was going to die in that room Adam locked her in. Adam’s going to have to do better than “I’m sorry.”

Chelsea rages about being drugs, but Adam claims he never ordered that. Chelsea asks if it was just Adam’s thugs getting creative then. She brings up Adam’s seemingly deadly plans for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but Adam insists they aren’t happening.

Adam feels ashamed of what he’s done – and Chelsea feels he should be! After Adam says he never would’ve forgiven himself if something happened to Chelsea, she says something did happen to her. Chelsea can’t believe Adam could do that to the mother of his child.

The officer arrives to take Chelsea into protective custody, so Chelsea notes that one scream could end all this. Adam would be arrested. “If that is what you need to do, go ahead,” Adam says. Instead, Chelsea puts on a calm act and tells the officer she won’t be needing protective custody after all. Chelsea claims to feel perfectly safe since a lot of people live in the house.

Afterward, Chelsea rejoins Adam and suggests that just because she didn’t bust him now doesn’t mean she won’t. Chelsea argues Adam can’t keep blaming Victor for his problems. Adam thinks the worst part was that he pushed Chelsea away. He knows that without Chelsea, he’s lost.

At the hospital, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) updates Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) on Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) secondary staph infection. They’re giving him a higher dose of antibiotics to lower his fever, but Abby can’t see him. Chance needs to be isolated or else he’ll be at risk for another infection.

At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is distracted as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) talks to him about the Jabot Collective deal. Jack assumes this about Summer Newman (Hunter King) and pushes his son to talk to him about it.

Summer corners Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) at Crimson Lights and demands to know what he’s up to with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Theo says that’s none of Summer’s business and needles her about feeling threatened by Sally. “Yeah, that’s it,” Theo says. “You’re afraid she might catch Kyle’s eye.”

Theo shifts gears and suggests maybe Summer is “thirsting” for him again instead. Summer says Fenmore’s is very important to Jabot. This is all about business. Theo argues that it seems personal to him and defends Sally’s move to Genoa City. This is all about redemption for Sally.

At Society, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) runs down the list of Sally’s duties before Sally brings up the looming Jabot Collective aka JCV acquisition. Sally thinks she’s the perfect person to run it. She points out she’s overqualified to be an assistant. “Still, that’s quite a leap,” Lauren insists.

Sally continues her pitch, so Lauren wonders if Sally had this target in mind when she took the executive assistant gig. Lauren would hate to think she was being taken advantage of.

Sally promises that’s not the case, and Lauren sees some of herself in driven Sally. That said, Lauren has someone else in mind to run JCV – though she’s going to wait until the deal pans out to reveal who it is.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) sits down at The Grand Phoenix bar, where she’s joined by Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Amanda offers news about her trip to Evanston, which brought more questions. Nadine was there and vividly remembers Rose Turner bringing Baby Hilary home without any prior signs of being pregnant.

Amanda walked out of that conversation pretty certain that Rose wasn’t her biological mother. It’s tough for Amanda to think about Rose choosing to raise Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and not her. Part of Amanda is scared of what she’ll find if she continues her search for answers, but she’s going to do it anyway. “I need to know the truth now, wherever it leads me,” Amanda says.

Devon points out that there may be other witnesses, but Amanda suggests they were just people who knew Rose back then. The PI is still questioning, so Amanda guesses they’ll see how it goes. Devon wants to be kept in the loop and then asks if they can have dinner tonight. He’s tired of being alone or just dealing with business.

Amanda can’t tonight, so they make plans for tomorrow night. However, Amanda’s adamant that they can’t discuss their problems. Devon promises the dinner will be light, upbeat and positive.

Back at Jabot, Kyle admits sometimes he says things that set Summer off. She doesn’t trust him and thinks he still loves Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) – though Kyle insists he doesn’t. Jack argues that if it’s true love, Kyle will do whatever it takes to save it. If not, Kyle will regret it for the rest of his life.

Summer walks in, so Jack exits and leaves them to talk. Kyle asks Summer if they’re ever going to get past this. They start arguing since Kyle said they were better off apart, but Kyle contends that he was just frustrated. “I love you, damn it!” Kyle shouts. He’s willing to fight for love 100 percent, so he asks if Summer still loves him, too.

At the hospital again on Friday’s Young and the Restless episode, Elena assures Abby that Chance is stable. She advises Abby to go get something to eat and hopefully there’ll be better news later. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) appears moments later and gets some encouraging words from Elena. She thinks he can still save lives and be a doctor.

Elena wonders if Nate’s still thinking of leaving town, so he admits he doesn’t see anything left for him there. After Nate joins Elena in her apartment, they continue to debate the issue. Nate doesn’t see why Elena’s fighting him on this.

“Because I don’t want to lose you!” Elena yells. She finally admits there’s something between them and there has been for months. Elena says she has feelings for Nate – and it’s scaring her to death. Nate doesn’t want Elena to be scared; he just wants to go back to the way things were.

Elena wonders if that’s really all Nate wants, but he says he won’t push for anything else right now. They make a deal and decide Nate will remain in town if Elena returns to work at the clinic. Elena has to get back to the hospital, so they leave the apartment together.

At Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) reassures Abby about Chance and then gets her mind off her troubles. She asks how Abby would envision her wedding. Mariah gets Abby laughing about an undercover secret agent type of theme.

That’s not what Abby has in mind, but she does know she wants Mariah to be her maid of honor. “Why?” a stunned Mariah asks. Abby argues that Mariah has been such a good friend to her lately – she calms her down and that’s what a good maid of honor should do. Mariah gladly accepts the position.

Later, Devon shows up and gets the latest info on Chance. He admires Abby’s engagement ring and then Mariah suggests Devon become a “minister or something” so they could pull the Hamilton-Winters family into the wedding. Abby loves the idea of Devon getting ordained and officiating the ceremony.

At the Chancellor mansion again, Chelsea learns Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) visited Adam and isn’t surprised. Adam insists it was just about Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and the investigation. It kills Adam that Chelsea overheard him talking about Sharon like she was his one true love – that he made Chelsea doubt what she means to him.

Adam insists that he felt Chelsea pulling away, but she argues that’s crap and he knows it! Chelsea was nothing but supportive. Adam wonders if they can find their way back from this, so Chelsea asks if he really believes it’s fixable after everything he’s done to her.

Adam has no excuses, but he promises to make it up to her. Chelsea doesn’t buy that Adam’s rage disappeared like magic. Adam knows he can’t be trusted and notes that something sunk in after Chance got shot.

Chelsea wonders what would’ve happened if Chance hadn’t gotten shot. Would Victor be alive right now? Adam honestly can’t tell Chelsea that he wouldn’t have gone through with it.

Nevertheless, Adam is on a better road now. He wants one more opportunity to win back Chelsea’s love and trust. “I am asking for your forgiveness,” Adam says. Chelsea hears the sincerity in Adam’s voice, but she’s shell-shocked right now. She suggests Adam find out who tried to kill him so they don’t try it again.

Adam points to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) as someone with means and motive – someone who hates him more than anyone in the world and has tried to kill him before. Meanwhile, Lauren spots Jack at Society and wants his permission to have someone from Jabot run JCV once it’s under Fenmore’s umbrella. Jack wonders who that someone is.

Next, Theo meets with Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) and fills her in on discovering he was connected to Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) after she was no longer lucid enough to make will changes. Theo wants to know what his options are. He asks Brittany how he formally contests Dina’s will.

As for Kyle, he admits he felt like part of him was missing when he imagined his life without Summer. Kyle’s willing to fight for Summer, but she has to want it to. Summer says of course she still loves Kyle, so he wonders why they’re making this so hard.

On Friday’s Y&R episode, Summer doesn’t want to throw away what they have, but she has to be sure – and that’s going to take a little time. Kyle says to take all the time she needs. Soon after, Sally shows up and says she’s been looking for Kyle.

Abby sneaks back in Chance’s room after his fever breaks. She knew he’d conquer this infection, but she insists he has to stop scaring her. Abby gets emotional as she talks about wedding plans, so Chance wakes up and says the sooner he’s married to Abby, the better.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby and Chance’s wedding will be one to remember, so stay tuned to Y&R! CDL’s your go-to source for all the Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news you need.
