The Young and the Restless Spoilers Review: Thursday, November 5 – Kyle Meets Sally, Accuses Summer of Jealousy – Theo’s Dastardly Plot

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers review for Thursday, November 5, reveals that some shockers are coming up. At the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is expecting the attorney for Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) will reading when Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) walks in instead.

Jack, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are all caught off guard.

Kyle looks livid and wonders what Theo is doing there. Theo insists he’s there for the will reading – same as Kyle. The attorney sent Theo a letter inviting him, but Kyle thinks Theo can go to the lawyer’s office and doesn’t need to be there with the family.

Theo offers to leave if that’s what Jack wants, but Jack lets Theo stay as long as there are no disruptions.

At Crimson Lights, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is hoping for any possible leads on a new job. Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) can think of one, but she’s not sure it’s what Sally had in mind.

After Lauren suggests Sally could be her executive assistant, Sally’s thrown momentarily but recovers quickly. She assures Lauren that sounds excellent and can start immediately.

Lauren is thrilled and thinks this will work out for Sally, who can make connections and get her feet wet at Fenmore’s. When Lauren brings up going back to the office to sign paperwork, Sally offers to get her new boss a coffee for the road. Once Sally’s alone by the counter, she looks frustrated and sighs.

At the Chancellor mansion on Thursday’s Young and the Restless episode, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) gets updates from Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz).

Chelsea wasn’t around for the meeting she set up with Chance – and Chloe hasn’t heard from her either. She assumes Chelsea went back to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Over at Adam’s penthouse, he opens a box that was sent to him. It contains some of Chelsea’s belongings – like her driver’s license and cell phone. Adam uses that phone for a group chat to Chloe, Chance, Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

He poses as Chelsea and texts about needing time away to sort through things and figure out her new life without Adam.

When Chloe reads the text, she voices her concerns to Chance. It doesn’t make sense considering the conversation Chloe recently had with Chelsea. Chloe doesn’t buy that Chelsea ran off to lick her wounds.

She decides this is very “un-Chelsea” and has never seen Chelsea sign a text with “C.” Chance realizes Chloe thinks someone else wrote the message. “I know who wrote it: A,” Chloe insists.

At an undisclosed location, Chelsea wakes up groggy on a cot in a mostly bare room. She tries the door, but it’s locked.

Chelsea starts shouting that the person responsible is going to be in a lot of trouble. “When the father of my child finds out…” Chelsea says, then trails off. It dawns on her that Adam himself is to blame.

Back at the Abbott mansion, the attorney insists Dina wanted Abby to read the will. Abby steps forward and begins reading what Dina wanted her to say. Dina knows money can’t make up for the past, but that’s all she has now.

The bulk of Dina’s estate excluding a few specifics mentioned will be divided evenly among Traci, Ashley and Jackie.

Kyle gets Dina’s art collection and asks him not to sell all of it. Dina reveals that she wanted her “darling Abby” to read the will so she could stop underestimating herself.

Since Dina enjoyed their time in Paris, she’s leaving Abby her Paris apartment. Dina insists Abby should use it when the mood strikes and hopes the mood will strike often.

Next, Abby notes that there’s a letter for Eric Vanderway (Jon Briddell), Theo’s father. Theo seems excited as he reads it, but the letter rather coldly talks about Dina’s encounter with Stuart Brooks and how she was too young to care for a child.

Stuart left Dina something when he died, so she’s included it. Theo opens a box and finds a pen. “Excellent,” Theo says and puts it in his jacket pocket. Kyle looks pleased over Theo’s meager inheritance, but Traci hopes Theo’s not too disappointed.

Theo insists he’s just happy Dina acknowledged him, but Kyle points out that Dina acknowledged Theo’s father, not Theo himself. Theo thinks it bothers Kyle that Dina included her eldest son.

Kyle argues he was bothered by the way Theo “swaggered” in there like he was expecting a huge payday. He feels like Theo’s up to something.

Jack eventually takes Kyle aside and pushes him to cut this out. He feels like Kyle is kicking Theo while he’s down and wonders if this is about Summer Newman (Hunter King). Kyle rants that this is about the fact that he doesn’t trust Theo at all.

Over with Chloe, she frets over Chelsea and wonders if Chance can look into this. Chance can’t do it officially and is hesitant to go rogue since he just joined the force. He suggests maybe Chelsea is just busy, but Chloe argues that Chelsea always replies back right away.

“Even if she were in a burning building and she saw my worried text messages, she would at least respond, ‘Bitch, leave me alone,’” Chloe says. She begs Chance to investigate Chelsea’s disappearance on his own.

Adam has another vision of Young Adam (Dane West), who insists that Adam can’t do this. He loves Chelsea and is going too far. Adam argues that Chelsea will be fine, but Young Adam doesn’t think Adam can know that for sure.

After Young Adam contends that it’s not too late to stop this, he fades away and leaves Adam alone in the penthouse.

Adam’s getting ready to leave when Chance drops in and starts grilling Adam about Chelsea. Adam plays dumb and even calls Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) school to see if they’ve heard from her. Chance asks questions about where Adam was headed just now and brings up his package on the table.

Adam lies about receiving books, but Chance can tell something’s off. He suggests that maybe Chelsea found out about some retaliation for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Adam wonders if Chance really thinks he’d harm the mother of his child.

Chance finds it suspicious that Adam seemed to know what was on the group text. If Chance finds out Adam had anything to do with Chelsea going missing, he’ll prosecute Adam to the fullest extent of the law.

In the park, Summer spots Sally sitting on a bench and tries to sneak on by. Sally stops Summer and calls her over to chat. After Sally reveals her new job at Fenmore’s, Summer assumes it’s as a designer. Sally admits she’s Lauren’s assistant, but she’s certain this is the start of something big.

After Sally pushes to exchange contact info, Kyle appears looking for Summer. Sally notices the tension and realizes this is yet another ex of Summer’s. Summer introduces Kyle and Sally before Sally takes off.

When Kyle notes that Sally seems fun, Summer takes a dig at her. “Yeah, sure. If you like a walking smiley face emoji,” Summer quips.

Summer feels like Sally really seems to like Kyle – or at least the fact that his last name is Abbott. Kyle offends Summer by suggesting she’s jealous. They shift gears to Theo getting next to nothing at the will reading, which Kyle gloats about.

Summer feels a little sorry for Theo, who has no immediate family left. Kyle rants that Theo only cares about himself and is upset over Summer siding with Theo. Kyle adds that maybe their issues were about Summer’s ex instead of his own.

Summer lashes out since they made a pact to keep things civil for Dina’s sake. Kyle apologizes, but he doesn’t think Summer can give Theo an inch. Summer argues that Kyle is creating a competition that isn’t there. “Kyle, you really are the better man,” Summer says.

Sally walks in Society as she’s leaving a voicemail for her sister, Coco Spectra (Courtney Grosbeck). Sally mentions trying not to leave a path of destruction in her wake, but she spots Theo at the bar and adds that she’s making no promises.

Soon after, Sally approaches Theo and learns the reading for his grandmother’s will didn’t go well. Theo admits he was cheated out of his inheritance, but he makes it clear this isn’t over.

“Sounds like you’re hatching a dastardly plot. Think you’re supposed to keep those to yourself,” Sally says. Theo brings up Sally’s own recent plot, but she downplays it and insists her last relationship was toxic.

At the Chancellor mansion again, Chloe tries to smooth little Miles Fisher. She asks if Miles is crying about “Auntie Chelsea” and promises Chelsea can take care of herself. “And if we find out someone caused her harm, we’ll take care of him,” Chloe insists on Thursday’s Y&R episode.

Back in that hidden room, Chelsea’s frantic and in tears. She tries the window, but she can’t get it open. When Chelsea checks the mini fridge, there’s a lone bottle of water. Chelsea guzzles it and feels woozy later. After Chelsea sniffs the bottle, she seems to realize she was drugged and passes out on the cot.

Sally makes her way back to Jabot and finds Jack. When Sally asks about the Jabot Collective, Jack admits it’s no part of Jabot since they’re concentrating on cosmetics again. Sally looks glum over the news when she steps in the hall.

Things aren’t quite going Sally’s way, but this go-getter won’t give up! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally has a few tricks up her sleeve, so stay tuned to Y&R. CDL’s where you want to be for scorching Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so be sure to stop by again soon.
