The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that it’s time to dive a little deeper and unravel a new mystery. Y&R fans know Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) recently got busted hanging out with a friend in the park.
Faith lied to cover her tracks, but Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) blabbed to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) about Faith being out late with some random girl who looked a bit older.
Of course, this girl isn’t so random since we know since she’s a new character named Jordan. Madison Thompson will debut in the role on October 27, but not much is known other than Jordan is rather worldly and not quite what she seems.
There’s more to the story with Jordan, so she’s not just a nobody. Y&R has taken the time to give her a name and will ultimately give her a face. They’ve established several instances of Faith texting with Jordan, so they’ve paving the way for the storyline to come.
It feels like Jordan is significant somehow – more so than just the plot-point chick who drags Faith into trouble.
With that in mind, could Jordan have a connection to someone else on canvas? Jordan doesn’t have a last name yet, so the door’s wide open. It’s possible Jordan has a relative in Genoa City – or perhaps she will soon.
Consider the timing of Jordan’s debut and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) imminent arrival. Jordan will first appear on October 27 as we mentioned. Then, Courtney Hope will make her debut Y&R appearance as Sally on November 3. That’s not too long after we first see Jordan.
Another interesting tidbit comes from an interview Madison Thompson did with The Bare Magazine.
“I had to wish my favorite blonde hair goodbye…But that is the life of an actress, right?” Thompson said. “For the new show I just joined, The Young and the Restless on CBS, I had to change my hair color. It is now a dark brown/red color and I am kind of loving it!”
Why did Thompson have to change her hair color? More specifically, why did Thompson have to change it to a color that’s quite similar to Sally’s?
We know Sally had a sister named Coco Spectra (Courtney Grosbeck) on The Bold and the Beautiful, but it’s possible Sally has another sister we haven’t heard about yet.
However, Jordan could even be a cousin or another newly invented relative. It’s possible troublemaking Jordan could be part of why Sally shows up in town. It’s an option to mull over based on the clues, especially since everything about Jordan has been so mysterious!
