The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is headed down a troubling path. Faith has a good heart, but she’s incredibly vulnerable right now. Since Faith hasn’t wanted to cause any additional challenges during Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) cancer crisis, she’s been keeping most of her feelings bottled up.
Faith has opened up a little here and there, but she’s mostly been putting up emotional walls. Of course, we also know Faith dealt with some bullying due to Chance Comm’s exposé on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Faith got a barrage of texts from people calling her “Switcheroo” and joking that her uncle might snatch her again. For a young teen like Faith, that had to be tough.
Faith recently received a text from someone named Jordan, but she didn’t divulge any details to Summer Newman (Hunter King). When Faith got another text later, she would only tell Summer that it wasn’t from a boy.
Y&R is using all this to set up the debut of a mysterious new character who’s set to debut on October 27. That’s when The Young and the Restless will offer a first look at Jordan, who’ll be played by Madison Thompson.
Jordan is an older, worldly teen – just the kind of girl who’ll be “cool” to Faith and exactly the kind of person to lead her astray.
When everyone else has been bullying Faith, Jordan has undoubtedly been showing Faith kindness and getting her tangled up in a risky web. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Faith will push her family away more and more in the coming episodes.
Faith will be hanging out with Jordan and keeping secrets, so that raises red flags right off the bat.
It seems like Faith already knows Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) wouldn’t approve of this chick. Since Jordan’s clearly going to play a huge role in whatever disaster’s brewing for Faith, what will that involve?
Drugs or alcohol are options to consider. Shoplifting might be another one. Faith comes from a wealthy family, but Jordan might think Faith would get a thrill out of stealing. She might even suggest a combo of drinking, drugs and theft to make Faith feel alive again.
On the other hand, there might be some other plan Jordan has in mind, but we know she’ll have a bit of an agenda – and Faith will be susceptible to Jordan’s influence. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jordan could bring danger, so stay tuned to see how Faith goes wild!
