The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will show up in Genoa City and hope she can shake off the bad memories of Los Angeles.
The Bold and the Beautiful fans know this B&B character exited in disgrace after faking a terminal illness to win back her ex, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks).
That plot obviously blew up in Sally’s face, but she’s had some time to form a new game plan – one that’ll land her in GC hoping to do some networking. Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) knew the original Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley) quite well, but now it’s her grandniece’s turn to shake things up.
Although Sally has some connections in town like Lauren and others that’ll ultimately be revealed, there’s one person who’ll have no earthly idea who she is. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will arrive at Jabot looking for Lauren, so Summer Newman (Hunter King) will ask for her name.
Sally will be rather offended since she’ll feel like her face and brand should be recognizable.
Even after Sally admits she’s Sally Spectra, Summer may wind up offering a shrug. She’ll probably get irritated right back and might argue that she can’t be expected to know every struggling fashion designer out there.
Sally has a big personality and can be pretty confident when it comes to her work. She’s not going to like it if Summer tries to downplay her accomplishments, even if Sally’s puffing them up a bit.
Y&R will probably intentionally let Summer and Sally get off on the wrong foot. It could play a role in what feels like an inevitable battle for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) down the road.
For now, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will interrupt and potentially shut down the clashing before it goes too far. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will greet Sally and promise he knows exactly who she is. That’ll put a smile on Sally’s face as she’s finally granted her meeting with Lauren.
Sally will end up working as Lauren’s assistant at Fenmore’s, but she’ll surely hope she can get her fashion design dreams back on track sooner or later. It turns out Sally has one mysterious link in town that’ll be particularly helpful as time goes on.
