The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) battle against cancer has revealed something about her relationship with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Shey appeared to be Sharon’s next enduring relationship. The health crisis she’s facing has affirmed that belief.
A marriage wasn’t imminent before the breast cancer diagnosis was received. But it was clear that Sharon and Rey were compatible. Nuptials will be in the offing after the disease is defeated and an older storyline issue also shouldn’t derail anticipated plans.

It’s easy for those who are experiencing new love in Genoa City, Wisconsin, to have fun. Giving flowers isn’t old fashion, either. Instead, that’s another expression of Rey’s deepening love for Sharon.
But when a hard challenge arises unexpectedly it’s reasonable to wonder whether both halves of any couple will remain together. In this instance, Rey has fully demonstrated his commitment.
Considering that he’s only had one known bad break, whereas Sharon has experience in rebounding from many, it was fair to be concerned about Rey’s response. But he’s been fully supportive, just as he was with his brother.

Rey left Miami, Florida, to work an undercover investigation that he was assigned to in GC. When that arc resolved, he chose to remain in Wisconsin, partially in order to stay away from Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez).
Being estranged from Mia was likely going to lead to an eventual divorce. But she decided to follow Rey. While they both tried to make a reconciliation work, their efforts failed.
By the end of Ria’s arc, Mia and Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) actually reconciled. While Rey was initially considered a father candidate, Arturo is believed to be the dad. Even though Marturo is living well in Miami, natural soapy questions persist about whether Mia intervened in the paternity test results?
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Second Time’s The Charm
A delayed answer to the paternity question can allow Rey to pledge his love to Sharon through marriage, followed by a later revisit of the Mia matter. A wedding between Sharon and Rey would seem likely to happen after the cancer storyline has ended in victory.
Shey formed over time, which allowed for a natural love match. In the future, whenever new episodes arrive, a drama-free marriage ceremony would also make sense.
