The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, March 19, tease that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will keep a few secrets. A mysterious meeting will be arranged, but the details will remain hush-hush. Jill won’t be ready to reveal what she’s up to until the time is right.
Since Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) vowed to handle Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers), this mystery meeting may involve Chancellor Media instead. We do know some new hires and shakeups are coming soon.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will have to get on the same page about those, which could bring more clashing in the weeks ahead.
For now, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will announce some surprising news at Jabot. He’s warned Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) repeatedly about goading Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but Theo just can’t seem to help himself.
There are rumblings about Theo jumping ship, so we could see the first signs of that in Thursday’s Y&R episode. Whatever Jack announces could push Theo toward the door.
Jill saw a real spark in Theo when she first met him. They hit it off at a Jabot event, so she’s probably been thinking about Theo as a potential team member for Chancellor Media. That could be interesting since Billy has already expressed his distrust of Theo, although that was back during his gum-chewing days.
It’s possible Theo will be summoned for that mysterious meeting we mentioned. Jill would have a reason to keep that quiet if Theo isn’t officially out at Jabot. Regardless, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will deliver a threat on Thursday.
There’ll be suspicions and concerns about Theo’s behavior, so that that could involve business, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) or both.
Summer may warn Theo to stay on the right path and avoid hurting the people who really matter. That includes Theo’s family as well as Lola. Of course, Theo will probably just have some snarky comeback. It’s doubtful Theo will pay much attention to Summer, but she’ll give it her best shot anyway.
Meanwhile, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will hope the third time’s the charm. Y&R viewers know Mariah’s been on an apology tour – first on Tanner Watts’ (Chase Coleman) jet and later at a Detroit concert. Sadly, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) hasn’t been able to forgive Mariah for her betrayal just yet.
In Wednesday’s episode, Tessa flees the stage following Mariah’s grand gesture. Within the next episode or two, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah will track Tessa down for a more private discussion.
Tanner’s idea of turning this into a public spectacle was a pretty terrible one. Mariah will view this private moment as her last chance to win Tessa over, so she’ll give it her all.
Unfortunately, Tessa will still be too hurt to offer forgiveness. Keep in mind that it’s only been a few days in the soap world. Tessa caught Mariah – the one person she loved and trusted – after a hookup with somebody else.
Mariah poured salt in the wound by flinging wrongful accusations and acting like she didn’t know who Tessa was at her core.
On top of all that, Mariah kept huge secrets from Tessa – things she confided in Lindsay (Kirby Bliss Blanton). Mariah has shattered the trust between them in every possible way. It’s not fair to expect Tessa to forgive and move past everything so fast.
Mariah certainly didn’t forgive Tessa’s mistakes in the beginning. Tessa got the cold shoulder for weeks after the blackmail drama blew up. It took Tessa getting kidnapped and dumped in the freezing woods for Mariah to forgive her. Tessa just needs a little time!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah will give up after her third rejection, but Y&R fans will see a change of heart for Tessa in the near future.
