The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 24, teases that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will try to be strong for her daughter. At home, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will reassure Sharon about making up for skipped classes at school. Sharon will give Faith some good advice about running away and how it’s never the solution.
Talk will eventually turn to a trip Faith wants to take this summer. When Faith suggests Sharon will have beaten her cancer by then, Sharon will look pensive. Afterward, Sharon will confide in Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Although Sharon will fret about not being well enough for the trip, Rey will offer techniques to focus on positive thinking. Sharon will embrace Rey after he reminds her of his love and support.
As Faith continues to worry about Sharon, she’ll be unable to hold back her tears. When Sharon realizes Faith’s been a bit weepy, she’ll promise that they’re going to get through this together. Across town, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will discuss an important milestone. They got married one year ago today, but it’s a little awkward since Kyle’s now married to someone else.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will vow to get the ball rolling on his divorce. He’ll plan to put his marriage to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) behind him so he can truly move forward with Summer. Next, Kyle will talk to Summer about the future. Although Kyle imagines them as partners at Jabot one day, Summer will hint that she might like to run her own company.
Kyle will adjust his vision to Summer taking over Newman Enterprises and merging it with Jabot, which Summer will like the sound of. After deciding to take off and celebrate their future, they’ll make love in Kyle’s hotel suite. There’ll be rose petals on the bed as a nod to their first night as husband and wife.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will pitch in at Society. Lola will be upset over the heat on the stove being broken, so Theo will step up to fix it. When Theo returns all wet, he’ll admit he busted a waterpipe in the process.
Afterward, Theo will whip up some pierogis, the Polish version of empanadas. When Lola talks about how she wants her Miami restaurant to feel like home, Theo will confess that he wants someone who feels that way – like home. Lola will offer a reminder about taking things slow, but Theo will think they can find somewhere in the middle of seduction and serious.
Suddenly, Kendra will appear and derail Theo’s attempt to kiss Lola. Since Kendra will have a file to pass along, Lola will grow curious. After Lola asks if they’re working together on something, Theo will fib about going above and beyond for the boss.
Once Theo’s alone with Kendra, he’ll reassure her about their botched meeting. Theo will want Kendra to keep supplying info and will promise to take care of her after he’s in charge. It sounds like Y&R fans can expect more trouble soon, so we’ll give you updates as this storyline heats up.
On Tanner Watts’ (Chase Coleman) jet, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will talk to him about how she should’ve known this would happen. Tessa will suggest that you can’t have it all. When Tessa’s relationship with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) was great, her career was going nowhere. Now Tessa’s career has taken off and her relationship with Mariah has fallen apart.
After Tanner exits, Tessa will be tuning her guitar when Mariah appears. Mariah will get that she’s the last person Tessa wants to see, but she’ll push Tessa to hear her out. Tessa will be miffed about Mariah taking HER thing and making it about Mariah. However, Mariah crashed the concert with the intention of making it about them.
Tessa won’t have it in her to fight for their relationship anymore, but Mariah will refuse to give up. Y&R spoilers say Tessa will wonder what Marah’s game plan is. Will Mariah just keep apologizing until Tessa loves her again? Mariah will insist Tessa already still loves her. In fact, Mariah will vow to walk off the plane if Tessa can tell her she doesn’t.
Tessa will rant about Mariah cheating on her – although it’s not just about the cheating. Tessa’s been cheated on plenty of times, but she always thought it was an inevitable part of dating. It was something you just had to roll with. Mariah changed all that for Tessa, but she’ll be mad at herself for putting Mariah on a pedestal and getting her heart broken.
Tessa will hate that Mariah turned her into someone who cares about cheating, but Mariah will insist Tessa cares because of the love that’s still between them. It’s the kind of love that lasts forever. Mariah think this is their love song – although it’s one with an edge instead of the usual sappy stuff.
After Mariah begs Tessa to take this leap with her, Tessa will warn Mariah not to break this – or her – again. It can’t be undone if Mariah does. Mariah will ask if that means there’s a “this” at all because she’ll know she’s never going to let Tessa go. Once Tessa confirms she doesn’t want Mariah to let go, they’ll hug desperately as they cry.
