The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, November 17, tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will make a move that blows up in her face. However, it should mean trouble for Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) first!
Y&R fans know Phyllis called Faith out for being hungover recently, but Faith swore she wouldn’t drink again and begged Phyllis to keep quiet. Phyllis actually planned to tell Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) the truth, but he was in a pretty foul mood and barely let her get a word out.
That led to Phyllis keeping her mouth shut about Faith’s drinking – and that’s a decision she’ll soon regret.
Unfortunately, it seems Faith will break her promise and wind up hungover once again. Phyllis will run into Faith in the park looking rough, so they’ll be discussing Faith’s bad habit when Nick arrives. At that point, Phyllis will rat Faith out over the vodka she’s been partaking.
Faith will briefly try to lie her way out of this, but Phyllis won’t let her. She’ll think it’s time for Faith to face the music. Once Phyllis gives Nick and Faith some alone time to work through this, Nick will launch a lecture and give Faith some tough love.
Faith will have to accept her punishment and try to get on a better path.
As for Phyllis, Nick will reconvene with her and argue that he should’ve been told about Faith’s alcohol consumption immediately. It’ll start a fight that continues into midweek, so stay tuned for a “Phick” faceoff!
In the meantime, Tuesday’s episode will bring an amazing opportunity for Summer Newman (Hunter King). Summer will sit down with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), who’ll think Summer’s the ideal candidate to run the Jabot Collective once they officially incorporate it into Fenmore’s.
Of course, this is the job Sally wanted, but it’s tough to blame Lauren for choosing Summer instead. Based on what happened during Sally’s run on The Bold and the Beautiful, Sally has a history of stealing designs and lying to her employer.
She’s faced plenty of failures and is too much of a wildcard for Lauren to trust just yet.
Sally definitely has a sneaky side since she’ll form a new partnership on Tuesday. Who will Sally’s latest ally be? Sally approached Kyle recently and admitted she’d been looking for him.
Perhaps Sally will reach some sort of agreement with Kyle – like a plan to make sure Jabot and Fenmore’s help each other out.
That might actually be Sally’s way of accepting Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) offer after all. Theo wanted Sally to be his eyes and ears at Jabot, but she turned him down. Will Sally reconsider that proposal?
Theo insisted he wasn’t giving up – and The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will indeed benefit from knowing Theo soon. It sounds like Sally’s true alliance will be with Theo, but the one she makes with Kyle could set that up.
As for Summer, we’ll see if she accepts Lauren’s game-changing offer on the spot or needs time to mull it over. Either way, Lauren will think they can achieve big things together! We’ll bring you updates as other Y&R news comes in.
