The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update preview for the week of December 21-25 reveals that some fun and festive moments are coming up. In Y&R’s latest promo, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) teases Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) with some holiday mistletoe. “Consider your Christmas wish granted,” Phyllis insists at Crimson Lights.
There have been a few problems between Nick and Phyllis lately due to the money he offered up. Phyllis needed help to buy The Grand Phoenix, but she hated accepting it. Y&R fans know Phyllis has quite an independent streak in her, so it was tough for her to get on board with Nick’s plan.
Nevertheless, Phyllis really did need the help – and Nick has reassured her that this changes nothing between them. He doesn’t want Phyllis to feel indebted or like she’s less of a person because she leaned on him for support.
There are probably going to be more issues anyway, but not during the holidays. This is a time for caring and sharing, so Phyllis and Nick have some heartwarming moments coming up.
Over at the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will admire the beautiful Christmas tree and welcome Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to the gathering. The more, the merrier!
Jack will make sure Sally feels at ease as they continue to bond. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will also be on hand for a toast, so Jack will be glad to have his sister around.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will spend some time with the two most important women in his life, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Billy is falling hard for Lily, but Victoria will find ways to cause hurdles. She’s the mother of Billy’s children as well as an ex who’s always going to care about him.
However, Billy could get a bit fed up with Victoria as time goes on. Victoria may want to pump the brakes on Billy and Lily’s romance, but her efforts could backfire if she pushes it too far.
There’ll be some moments all three of them share at Society, but Y&R fans can expect Victoria to struggle to get in the holiday spirit later.
That could mean Victoria will wind up having a blue Christmas while Lily and Billy bond. From one potential love triangle to another, let’s talk about a surprising moment in The Young and the Restless’ weekly preview.
“I know a tradition that we should both be honoring right now,” Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) says in a cozy moment with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Elena will look up at the mistletoe and share a kiss with Devon, so this should be part of Elena’s upcoming dream. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will dream about a new beginning, so it looks like she’ll imagine a fresh start with Devon.
Of course, Elena might have another dream about a new beginning with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) – one where they build a very different sort of life together.
Elena is definitely torn between Devon and Nate right now based on these persistent dreams and what they reveal about her innermost thoughts.
Regardless of who Elena ultimately ends up with, “Elevon” fans should enjoy some sweet Christmas scenes. We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R news and updates emerge.
