General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura Wright) will battle a broken heart during the week of December 21-25. After Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) body is recovered, Ava will have true confirmation on his death.
may hit Ava hard since she really did love her brother. Just because Julian complicated her life doesn’t mean Ava didn’t feel something for him.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) knows Julian was important to Ava and will want to console her in the coming episodes. However, Ava will likely think back on burying Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and feel like maybe she’s cursed to lose what she loves.
Part of Ava may worry she’s inevitably going to lose Nikolas and perhaps Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), too.
GH fans know Avery has developed a nice bond with Nikolas and likes the fact that he’s in Ava’s life. The three of them had a nice time at the cabin a few months back – and Nikolas’ connection to Avery has only grown since then.
General Hospital spoilers say Ava will fret over her family soon. She’ll wonder if she’ll really be able to keep the good thing she’s got going intact.
All of this is interesting since we know Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) just fell through a collapsed footbridge. Sonny will be missing and potentially presumed dead for a while, so what does that mean for the daughter he shares with Ava?
Will Ava really just sit back and allow Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to be Avery’s primary caregiver?
Nikolas might resolve to help Ava go after more time with Avery. There might even be a plot to get full custody, especially after Carly’s secrets start coming out.
We’ve got MIA Sonny and then Carly’s covering up the truth about Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) cliff fall death – not to mention Nelle’s link to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
We can’t ignore the fact that Nelle was actually Kiki’s biological half-sister since they shared the same father, Silas Clay. Ava may consider it another lost family member in a way.
It’s easy to imagine Ava feeling like Carly is a dangerous hypocrite. There’ll be peril swirling all around the Corinthos clan and secrets will be spilling all over the place.
Will Nikolas and Ava stand together on a new custody battle? Ava may determine that it’d be safer for Avery at Wyndemere. With Sonny out of the picture and Carly poised for a possible murder arrest, Ava and Nikolas could score a win here.
The cops may not buy Carly’s innocence once more Nelle details are inevitably exposed, so Ava could get the upper hand.
