The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 14-18 tease that we’ll see some growing concerns and heated conflict. First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will express doubts about Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) loyalty.
Nobody’s good enough for Victor’s granddaughter anyway, but he certainly has good reasons to doubt Kyle’s commitment to Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Kyle has played games with Summer’s heart in the past – and he certainly dropped Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) like a hot potato. Victor may wonder what’s to stop Kyle from dropping Summer, too.
Summer should defend her reunion once again if Victor complains to her. Despite all the naysayers, Summer feels certain that the stars have aligned for a bright “Skyle” future.
Over with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), she’ll have a messy week as she dreams about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and then riles up Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will grill Sharon about the sudden “Shey” issues, so Sharon will admit she may have ruined everything.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also put Sharon on notice in the week ahead. There’ll be a faceoff and a stern warning from Chelsea, so she’ll definitely be keeping an eye on Sharon.
However, Chelsea will also make time to plot with Adam. They’ll decide to plant a listening device in the Chancellor Communications office, so Chelsea will have to flirt her way in.
That’s where Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will come in. Chelsea will get chatty with Chance Comm’s proud new director of talent and convince him to open the office for her.
Y&R spoilers say Chelsea will set a trap for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) through the bug she plants, but Billy will grow suspicious soon enough.
Once Chelsea’s caught in the Chance Comm office, Billy’s probably not going to buy her bogus excuse for being there. Nevertheless, Chelsea may hope to find out what Billy’s up to before that listening device is discovered.
Despite Chelsea’s best efforts to thwart Billy, he’ll still wind up with the upper hand on Adam before the week’s over.
In the meantime, Abby Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will grow increasingly worried about Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) and all the snooping she’s doing. Abby will hope Chelsea’s going to take care of this, but she probably won’t hold her breath!
As for Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), he’ll deliver an ultimatum to Adam. Although Adam saved Chance’s life in Vegas, that doesn’t mean Chance will go along with whatever Adam wants.
Chance has to know he can trust Adam, so he may warn that there can be no more secrets between them.
Chance’s ultimatum might also involve Abby since he’s come to care about her so much. If Abby gets dragged into Adam’s drama, Chance may suggest that loyalty will go right out the window.
It looks like Chance’s priorities may start to shift, so we’ll see if that changes anything between Chance and Adam.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will force Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to face reality. Since Phyllis’ daughter is involved with Jack’s son, maybe this reality Jack’s forced to face will be about Summer and Kyle.
Then again, Phyllis might take an opportunity to weigh on Jack’s own love life. It’s easy to imagine Phyllis making some remark about how Jack’s not getting any younger! Jack intends to find love again, but Phyllis may think he needs to get started ASAP.
As for Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), she’ll find a clue that ties in with Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) past. There’ll be some trail for Traci to follow, so this should kick off a romantic adventure – one that involves Dina and John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) early love story.
Finally, the DNA results will come in for Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). After Amanda opens the envelope with a supportive Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) by her side, she’ll head to Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse.
Devon will learn Amanda is indeed Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) twin sister, so both Amanda and Devon will be left reeling over the news.
