The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that some exciting things are coming up once October gets underway, so let’s talk about what’s next. We’ve got the scoop in our October preview – and there’s a lot to cover! Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect in the month ahead.
For starters, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have her follow-up surgery and rely on her loved ones to get her over this latest hurdle. A major milestone in Sharon’s cancer storyline is coming up this October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Y&R will start swinging things in a more positive direction, so this should be the beginning of Sharon’s true recovery.
As for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), his war with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden will get nasty. However, we certainly can’t forget about Adam’s war with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Chelsea will keep working with Adam on his takedown missions, but there’ll be some unexpected consequences for all parties involved.
Alyssa Montalvo (Alyssa Montalvo) warned Billy that people he loved might get caught in the crossfire – and that’ll certainly happen with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). She’ll be a huge factor in Billy and Adam’s battle, so Billy may have some tough decisions to make.
As for Alyssa, her disappearance should kick off a mystery that’ll lead to more trouble. Alyssa mentioned getting in touch with the wife of the missing Vegas man, so she should become part of this story eventually.
Y&R fans can also expect Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) to do some investigating this October, so stay tuned for some crime drama.
Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) conflict with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) may not be as over as she thinks it is! It looks like Abby and Phyllis will find another reason to feud – and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may not be able to control the chaos this time!
Of course, Phyllis and Nick will also have to deal with the fallout of Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) engagement. Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will make some vengeful moves to delay her divorce from Kyle, but Summer just might fight back!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will take a page out of Phyllis’ playbook and put Kyle’s love for her to the test.
As for Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), we’ll see him try to figure out what life without Lola looks like. Since Lola basically dumped Theo for being a flirt, Theo may embrace that part of himself wholeheartedly now. There’s no reason not to since Theo’s no longer dating Lola.
It’s easy to imagine true sparks flying between Theo and Victoria – especially since Y&R spoilers point to a surprising duo heating things up soon. As for Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), she’ll continue to bond with Devon Hamilton (Mishael Morgan).
That obviously won’t go over well with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), who’ll find herself leaning on Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) more and more.
Amanda will keep looking for answers about her past as well as Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan). The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jared (Michael Maclane) – the young man that got help at the clinic – will come back in the picture for a shocking reveal. It sounds like Jared holds the key to unlocking at least part of the story.
Over with the Abbotts, there’ll be new clues involving Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) history. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will seek info related to Dina’s antique emerald necklace, which will bring a meaningful journey.
That necklace has significance to Dina due to her love story with John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), so this is all about uncovering info and ultimately reuniting Dina with this beloved piece of jewelry. There’ll be some family lessons along the way – and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will play a role in all this, too.
