Babies are having babies. Jenna and Aden are having a baby. They were both babies themselves still. Jenna was sixteen and Aden was seventeen. The two of them were having a baby because they thought it was fun to not use protection. They enjoyed the risk and there also seems to be confusion about how the menstrual cycle works. Like Jenna didn’t know to keep track of her fertile days.

She also thought boys experienced something similar and so that failing is on the parents as well as the educational system. Both she and Aden should have been made more aware of what sex could mean. They also shouldn’t have been using sex to past the time and that’s what they were doing for a while.

The two weren’t dating when they got pregnant. They were in that “talking” phase in which they had sex without casually and they would sneak into each other’s homes. Really, it was Jenna sneaking in Aden. Jenna believes she has her father wrapped around her finger and that simply was not true. Her father was denying her the car she wants because he didn’t like her behavior.

He denied her the car the first time because her grades were low and he denied it the second time because the grades were still low. He denied it the third time because she stole the dog-sitter’s money. Jenna was not a good kid. Pregnancy or no and she and her boyfriend were happy to be pregnant because she thought nothing would change. And unfortunately, she’s in for a rude awakening.

Myrika and her boyfriend Ethan are having a baby as well. The two of them have been dating ever since Myrika transferred to the school when she was fourteen and Ethan was fifteen. The two became pregnant after they too chose to forgo birth control. Only they were different in the sense that their parents did talk to them about birth control and sex and so they really shouldn’t have been so cavalier about using the information.

They were now pregnant because of it. They were pregnant and it caused issues. Myrika was kicked out by her mother. Her mother had actually warned her from when she was younger that if she ever came home pregnant she would get kicked out and that’s exactly what happened.

Myrika’’s mother kicked her out. She talked to Ethan about it and Ethan spoke to his own parents and they agreed to let Myrika to move in. Ethan’s parents were upset by the pregnancy. They hadn’t liked it each other and at the same time they were more accepting because they’ve been there. They were once pregnant teenagers themselves.

They unfortunately suffered a miscarriage back then and so Ethan doesn’t have any older siblings, but what he does have is understanding parents and they were there to offer the support that Myrika’s mother refuses to give. The other parents couldn’t understand how Myrika’s mother would turn her back on her daughter. Myrika was having her first child. She needed her mother more than ever now and her own mom should have remembered this.

Tyra and Alex have already had their baby. Their baby daughter Layla is nine months old and the two of them don’t want another one any time soon. They now use several different forms of birth control. They also don’t really have the time for another baby or to make a baby because they were taking care of their daughter and Tyra was also going to college. She’s nineteen. She wants a college education and she also wants to truly experience college. She’s a cheerleader there. She has to drive for two hours to make it to her school and to go there plus coming back meant she didn’t have the time to get pregnant. Its also hurting her relationship. Alex mistrusts her. He doesn’t like her being away for long because he was still a kid himself and he needed to work on communication.

Only Tyra wasn’t going to stop going to school. Not for him or anyone. She knows that to get a better job and to take care of her daughter that she has to see this through and so right now it isn’t easy between her and Alex. Alex mistrusts her. He wonders what she’s doing when she’s away from home for so long and its his insecurities. Alex would probably feel differently if he too was going to school, but he’s not and staying home with the baby all the time wasn’t easy either. He was lucky that he could turn to his family for help and right now he and Tyra were staying with his family. His family hadn’t liked the situation at first when they first brought home Layla and now things are different and they receive all the support they could ever need.

Having children so young is never easy. Reanna is fifteen and she’s about to have her first child. She was lucky in the sense that her mother was very supportive of her during this trying time and the reason for that is because her mother was a teen mom as well. Reanna’s mother got pregnant with Reanna when she was sixteen. She’s been there and she knew what Reanna needed. Reanna’s parents are not together. They simply co-parent and Reanna was living with her father when she got pregnant. She was living with her dad because she wanted to stay near her boyfriend at the time. But things changed for her after she got pregnant. Reanna told her boyfriend Taron she was pregnant and he basically shut her out.

Taron didn’t want to know. He didn’t want to be involved. He even blocked her number and, while he later changed his mind, it was too little too late for Reanna. Reanna wants nothing to do with him. She refuses to talk to him and so he has to talk to her mother to find out what’s going on. Reanna moved in with her mother after she found out she was pregnant because she knew she would need her mother more right now and she wasn’t wrong. At least not about that. Reanna’s pregnancy has been rough because she still has morning sickness and she also suffers from aches and pains and so Reanna was having a hard time of it. Her pregnancy was brutal on her. Its good that Taron is checking up on her even if it came too late for his relationship with Reanna.

Myrika doesn’t have to worry about her boyfriend. He was supportive from day one and he was actually there for her more than her own mother was. Myrika saw her mother. They went to eat and to go to church and her mother hasn’t changed. She hasn’t softened in the slightest. She was a hard woman who didn’t really hug her children because she wanted “toughen” them up and so she was never going to get pass Myrika getting pregnant. She was going to hold this over her daughter head for the rest of Myrika’s life. And Myrika couldn’t understand it because she already loves her baby and she knows she would never turn her back on it.

Then there’s Jenna. Jenna just wants a car. She moved in with her dad when she was eighth grade because her dad was the fun parent and she wanted to spoiled by him. He’s now trying to stop spoiling her, but it doesn’t seem to be working with Jenna because Jenna doesn’t like nor want responsibility and she was about to have a baby.

And Reanna’s mother is playing peacemaker for her and Taron. Taron is still in school. He’s hoping to get a scholarship to college and so Reanna needs to respect that. Right now, she’s resentful because she had to give up those things and she felt he should too and that’s not how this works. And she needs to stop being so childish.

THE END!
