The sisters are back! They’re back for an all-new season and there was a lot happening. Tammy finally admitted to having a food addiction. She was dating an enabler who was fattening her up and he’s now out of the picture. But what made Tammy realize she needed help was Covid-19. She got Covid-19. It made her feel horrible and it also made her horrible breathing issues that much worse. Tammy wants to change. She admitted she has a food addiction and so her family was taking her to a bariatric center where she could help lose weight. She needs the help. Her breathing issues were making her run out of breath after only twenty steps and she had needed help to get into Chris’s van just to go to the center.

Tammy was asked what happened to Jerry. She said they broke up because he wasn’t ready to commit and they wanted different things. He also was the one to end it. She asked him for a promise ring and his response was to end the relationship because he didn’t want to marry her. Jerry also likes big women. He said that from the start and he was constantly helping Tammy break her diet for his own agenda. But now they’re done. Good riddance and Tammy thinks so too. She realizes now how toxic Jerry was. Tammy stopped worrying about his reaction to every little thing she did and she started to focus on herself. Tammy went to the center to rehab off her addiction and she was toughing it out in spite of how hard things are.

Tammy was getting a healthy workout every day. They gave her exercises to do and they also put her on a diet. Tammy was making do with much smaller food proportions. She was given one sandwich when normally she would eat three or four and her chief complaint about the food was that it’s bland. It was salted or dipped in butter and even the juice was sugar-free. It was a well-regulated routine. Tammy was there at the center for a few weeks when she called her family about meeting up. Only her family were instantly put on alert. They thought Tammy was going to tell them that she was quitting and her family doesn’t want that for her. They want her to get better. They want her to live a long life and she couldn’t do that if she let food dictate the rest of her life.

Tammy had a weigh-in. She was 689 lbs when she first arrived and after eight weeks she’s down sixty pounds. Tammy would never have believed she could lose that weight, but the program at the center was helping and so they tried to talk Tammy out of leaving the program. Tammy took to heart she was able to lose weight there. Only she missed home. She missed her house and she missed seeing her family. Tammy failed to notice how much of a burden she’s become on her family and that maybe she was better of in the center. The people at the center were able to keep her on goal while her family has not. Her family has tried getting through to Tammy and it was an uphill battle because Tammy tends to convince herself that she doesn’t have a problem.

Tammy also bites the heads off of anyone trying to help her. She had apparently been stuck in some cheating while she was at the center and it was fine for the most part because of her regulated diet and exercise. But Tammy doesn’t have that to fall back on now that she’s out. Tammy’s family tried to help by getting her a cooktop because she couldn’t reach over the stove and so the cooktop allows Tammy to get more independence. Tammy didn’t really appreciate the gift. She also didn’t like her family telling her that she needed to stick to her diet and that she couldn’t cheat now. Tammy didn’t appreciate the reminder. She said she proved herself by losing sixty minutes. She believes that’s enough to earn their trust.

Amy wasn’t all that thrilled with Tammy leaving the center. She knows her sister and she knows how lazy Tammy is. Tammy couldn’t be bothered to make her own doctor’s appointments. Or refill her medications. She said she has anxiety and so she asks Amy to do it. Amy, who has been supportive through the whole thing, had reached a breaking point when Tammy snapped at her after Amy tried to get her medical details. Amy was on the phone with the doctor and the doctor was asking her questions that only Tammy knew. And so Amy tried to talk to Tammy but Tammy snapped at her because she was making a Youtube video.

Tammy was filming herself burning Jerry’s things and she called Amy stupid as well as other names for interrupting her. And so Amy said she was done.

Amy was going to focus on her own weight loss journey and her baby.

THE END!
