Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will freak over Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) new mystery guy. Allie’s twin brother Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will apparently flirt and spark jealousy once his identity is revealed, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
During the week of August 16-20, Chanel will meet someone new and become intrigued. DOOL fans know Chanel doesn’t label herself, so she’s open to romance in all forms.
Although Chanel would prefer to have a romantic relationship with Allie, she knows Allie chose Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).
It’s been hard for Chanel to let go, but she may see the potential for a new beginning with a mystery guy she meets. Chanel will no doubt find that he’s handsome, charming – and most importantly – interested in her.
Although things are a little awkward due to recent events, Days viewers know Chanel is still Allie’s bestie. She’ll want to share the news of this new guy she’s met and perhaps gush over him a bit.
Chanel might even hope it’ll make some of that awkwardness go away if she’s got a new potential main squeeze. She doesn’t want to lose Allie and their strong friendship, so she might hope to convince Allie that she’s moving on.
Of course, Days spoilers suggest Allie isn’t nearly as committed to Tripp as she thinks she is.
It’s obvious Allie is just shoving her true feelings for Chanel aside. Those feelings are going to come roaring back to the point where Allie won’t be able to ignore them any longer.
Allie may pretend she’s happy for Chanel, but part of her will likely be jealous under the surface. When Allie finds out the identity of the new man in Chanel’s life, she’s sure to be even more upset.
That’s because it’ll be Johnny who takes an interest in Chanel – and that’s going to make this whole situation even messier.
Allie isn’t going to like the idea of her twin brother dating Chanel, but she won’t be in the position to really object. She might do it anyway, but Allie made her choice and will have to live with it until she makes another one!
Allie still has a shot with Chanel if she can be honest about what she wants, but that’ll require some soul-searching and even a surprising dream or two.
Based on DOOL’s week of August 16-20 promo, it looks like Allie will have a fantasy about being in bed with Tripp while Chanel is there next to them.
Allie may pour her heart out to Chanel at some point, but she’d better hurry since Johnny will soon be in the picture and could serve as serious competition. As other Days news pops up, we’ll keep bringing you updates.
