Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will gear up for a legal battle with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), so her possessed mom will be furious over this lawyer’s help for Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).
Although Days hasn’t addressed it lately, we can’t forget that poor Doug is still trapped at Bayview. Doug doesn’t belong in a psychiatric facility – and he certainly doesn’t deserve to be completely isolated.
Nevertheless, that’s the solution possessed Marlena settled on since she didn’t want Doug exposing the devil’s return to Salem.
Julie nearly scored a visit with Doug after Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) flashed his badge at Bayview, but Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) shooting quickly became the more pressing matter.
Even so, Julie obviously hasn’t forgotten about her dear husband and the fact that he’s all alone right now. Julie doesn’t believe Doug’s a true danger to himself and others despite the attack Marlena claims he made on her.
Julie will keep pushing for a reunion and will help from a surprising source during the week of November 15-19.
DOOL fans know Belle loves her mom and typically respects Marlena’s opinion, especially when it comes to the judgment calls she makes in her work. However, this is one time when Belle will feel like Marlena’s being way too extreme.
There’s just no reason for a total ban on Doug’s visitors, so Belle will mull over the idea of launching a legal war with her own mother.
Belle won’t want to cause trouble, but she’ll also feel compelled to do the right thing – and the right thing is helping Julie see Doug. That’s really not too much to ask!
After careful consideration, Days spoilers say Belle will make the decision to help. She’ll be ready to take Marlena down in court if she has to, but she’ll hope it won’t come to that.
It turns out the whole Doug situation will explode sooner than expected since Julie will take matters into her own hands around Thanksgiving.
Marlena and Julie will face their worst faceoff yet, so the devil will cause another round of turmoil in town.
