Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will find herself backed into a corner, so she’ll do something drastic to wiggle out of trouble.
Of course, this isn’t going to work, but that won’t stop Jan from trying! Jan’s the kind of gal who refuses to go down without a fight, so she’ll indeed fight for her freedom as the walls close in.
With Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) on the verge of proving Jan’s guilt, Jan will realize she needs a new strategy. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jan will be desperate enough to snatch up a hostage, but she’ll end up with an extra one inadvertently.
Let’s consider who those hostages might be and how this whole crisis might play out.
When May sweeps preview info first surfaced, there were hints about Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) landing in a life-or-death situation.
It initially seemed like Jan might take Belle’s sister hostage and wind up with Lucas as well, but the latest Days spoilers suggest Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will be blamed for trapping Lucas and Sami together.
Naturally, that means Jan’s DOOL storyline will need two different hostages. It’s easy to imagine Jan holding Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) at gunpoint and dragging her into more drama.
Claire would be Jan’s ticket to getting her demands met since Shawn and Belle would do anything for their daughter.
As for the second inadvertent hostage, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) seems like a logical option. Ben will be spending even more time with Claire now that Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) has left for South Africa.
If Ben winds up held at gunpoint along with Claire, he may have no choice but to cooperate.
Armed Jan might track Claire down and find her with Ben – setting the stage for Claire and Ben to land in captivity together. Days of Our Lives fans know this might be a good opportunity for some sparks to fly.
Ben and Claire might even test the romantic waters with a kiss since they’ll apparently be sharing close moments in close quarters.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say “Cin” fans should have faith in Ben and Ciara’s reunion, but Claire and Ben will have to navigate their tricky relationship in the meantime.
This story will become a matter of just how far Ben and Claire will take their connection before Ciara returns in the summer months.
