Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) may reject Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) after her bestie changes her mind about a romance. Chanel might initially choose Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) as a way to protect her heart, so let’s consider how things could go down.
DOOL fans know Chanel got her hopes up when Allie finally acknowledged her more than friendly feelings. Chanel nudged Allie toward taking a step back from Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) so they could figure things out between them, but Allie did the opposite!
Allie suddenly committed to Tripp and left Chanel feeling blindsided by the crushing blow. Now Chanel is finally trying to move on – and she’s doing a good job of it with handsome and intriguing Johnny.
The only problem is Johnny is Allie’s twin brother, so this is going to be all kinds of complicated once that shocker comes to light.
Days spoilers say Allie will battle jealousy and completely flip out, so it’s obvious she still feels something for Chanel – something that goes beyond friendship.
When you combine that with Allie’s reluctance to declare love for Tripp, it seems like a setup for Allie to change her mind and decide it’s Chanel who she actually wants.
Will Allie reach this decision too late – at least for this next part of the story? Chanel may put her guard up since she was disappointed by Allie’s earlier rejection.
It may be Chanel’s turn to reject Allie and make sure her heart doesn’t get broken all over again.
That’s especially true when Johnny’s quite interested and can serve as a safer choice for Chanel. Allie might dump Tripp or even get dumped by him at some point.
If Chanel won’t take Allie either, she may find herself feeling miserable and alone while Chanel’s seemingly content with Johnny.
Of course, it’ll probably just be a matter of time until Chanel can’t resist Allie any longer.
Days viewers know Chanel feels like her connection with Allie is one of a kind – and whatever’s going on with Johnny may not be able to compete with the depth of that connection.
In other words, Allie may get rejected when she first puts her heart on the line, but she might get rewarded for her patience down the road.
After all the buildup, something’s bound to happen between Chanel and Allie regardless of Johnny and Tripp’s feelings about it!
