Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) will see his son for the very first time. Charlie obviously knows Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) exists, but he’s been unwilling to claim him so far.
Back when Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) first realized Charlie was likely her assaulter, she confronted Charlie and tried to pry a confession out of him by bringing Henry up.
Allie demanded the truth and pointed out Charlie’s actions are the reason Henry exists. However, Charlie stood his ground and refused to admit to violating Allie that night in London.
Of course, Allie is completely certain of Charlie’s guilt now that she’s undergone hypnosis. There’s no doubt in Allie’s mind – or in Days viewers’ minds – that Charlie is the culprit and Henry’s biological father.
Even Charlie himself is now telling Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) that if something happened with Allie, it was consensual.
How will Charlie feel once he finally sees Henry right in front of him? Will there be some part of Charlie that feels a connection? The look on Charlie’s face should register some emotion. He should at least be somewhat shaken by the sight of Henry since it’ll highlight the reality of what Charlie did.
Charlie might spot Henry when he crosses paths with Allie and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) on February 15 – or this first glimpse of Henry might come on a different airdate. Whatever the case, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will certainly be protective of her baby boy.
The same goes for Lucas, who may warn Charlie to stay away from his grandson. Unfortunately, Charlie is a wildcard who’s capable of anything. He might be smug enough to think he could actually score custody of Henry!
Then again, kidnapping is always a possibility. It’s easy to imagine Charlie deciding to bolt with the baby after Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) upcoming rejection. Charlie felt abandoned by Ava, so he might determine that he can’t let his own son feel that way.
Will Allie grow fearful after Charlie sees Henry? If Charlie goes after his son later on, that certainly raises the stakes and presents another motive for the DOOL murder mystery that’s brewing. Since Charlie will be killed off in a whodunit, there’s a chance his efforts to kidnap Henry will kick that story off.
For now, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Charlie will get his first look at Henry and have what we can assume will be a strong reaction. We’ll offer updates as other Days news emerges.
