Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will serve as the decoy bride and give Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) a huge shock when he lifts the veil. Theo will soon realize that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) has already stolen Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) from her big day!
DOOL fans know Ben’s been fighting Ciara on the divorce, but she’s determined to marry Theo – and on her old anniversary to Ben no less!
Since Ciara is in such a hurry, she’ll decide to shift her strategy during the week of July 19-23. Days spoilers say Ben will be heartbroken when Ciara reveals she’s gotten an annulment.
Of course, Ciara will think it’s fitting since she’ll just want to act like her marriage to Ben never even happened. Ciara will be all about moving on with Theo as her new groom, but Ben won’t stand for that.
Ben may not technically be Ciara’s husband anymore, but he’ll be as protective and determined as ever.
Ben will know Ciara wouldn’t want to go through with this wedding if she could remember their deep love for each other.
Days spoilers say Claire will pledge her loyalty to Ben – no matter how wild his scheme turns out to be. The scheme will indeed be a wild one since it involves a replacement bride situation.
DOOL’s weekly preview video features the bride sporting a giant old-fashioned veil – certainly nothing a modern bride like Ciara would choose to wear without a good reason.
The reason is Days needs to conceal the bride’s face so they can deliver a bombshell once Theo’s at the altar.
Theo should pull that veil back and find Claire underneath, so she’ll be taking a huge risk for Ben’s sake.
It’s doubtful Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) are going to approve of Claire’s role in helping dupe Theo, especially since it’s connected to Ben’s kidnapping plot.
There’s also the matter of Theo’s humiliation and betrayal. Theo has a great friendship with Claire, but it sounds like she’ll destroy it in an instant for Ben’s sake. Let’s hope
Claire can patch things up with Theo down the road, but he’ll be devastated and furious for now.
Theo will no doubt want to find Ciara and rescue her from Ben, but she won’t need rescuing for much longer.
A rush of memories should be on the way for Ciara soon after this kidnapping mayhem, so Ben and Ciara are the couple to root for here.
