Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) may pursue Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) after dumping Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney). Will Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) get some surprise romantic competition that further fuels his brother battle with EJ?
DOOL fans know Gabi isn’t too happy with EJ for having Jake kicked off the DiMera throne. In fact, Gabi has vowed to grind DiMera Enterprises to dust using Titan Industries and Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) as an ally.
However, Gabi has proven that she’s attracted to men she fights with. It happened with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) – and then it happened with Jake as well. Gabi likes DiMera men who rile her up!
Now that Gabi and Jake are on pleasant terms, perhaps Gabi will find herself craving that familiar tension with a different DiMera brother – even if she doesn’t want to admit it at first.
As for EJ, he’ll be furious with Sami once he realizes she cheated with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and has been deceiving him for months.
Days spoilers say EJ will be mad at the world again and will inevitably kick Sami to the curb.
Since EJ will want to cause destruction all over the place, it’s easy to imagine him making Jake’s love interest his latest conquest.
EJ will also need some comfort and a new task to distract him, so trying to land in Gabi’s bed seems like a reasonable goal to chase after.
That’s especially true now that Jake and Gabi are free to be together.
Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) isn’t standing in their way anymore, so what will Gabi and Jake’s next obstacle be?
Days is a soap, so they aren’t just going to live happily ever after. There has to be another hurdle headed Jake and Gabi’s way.
That hurdle just might be EJ since he’ll soon be single and hoping to cause more chaos.
We’ll see EJ’s bold and bitter side take over, so he may have his eye on Gabi following his Sami split. That’s especially true if Jake pushes EJ’s buttons and instigates this.
EJ is the kind of guy who likes to teach his enemies a lesson – and he isn’t afraid to stab his own family members in the back.
Going after Gabi makes sense as a new direction for EJ’s storyline in the months ahead, so we’ll see if that’s how it plays out.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi and EJ will remain in each other’s orbit through the war that’s brewing, so that could put them in steamy territory down the road.
