Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, January 22, tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will spot Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) looking pensive in the town square.
After all the Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) drama, Ben will want to see how Allie’s holding up. Allie will confess she’s having a rough time since she accused Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and now believes Charlie’s the real assault culprit.
Allie will point out the case against Charlie would be stronger if she could recall that night and declare Charlie guilty with certainty. DOOL spoilers say Ben will wonder if Allie’s thought about hypnosis, so she’ll admit she discussed the idea with Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker).
Allie just isn’t sure she can relive what she went through, so Ben will completely understand.
Since Ben has been hypnotized by Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) before, Allie will likely ask about Ben’s experience. Ben may confess that it can be pretty intense, but hypnosis also proved to be an effective tool to retrieve his memories.
Ben might add that Allie will be in good hands with Marlena – but only if she feels comfortable to go through with this. It has to be Allie’s choice alone.
Other Days spoilers say Charlie will track Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) outside the pub and beg her to have faith in him. Although Claire had some trouble accepting Charlie’s guilt in the beginning, she’s opened her eyes now and knows what Charlie is capable of.
Claire will reject Charlie on Friday, but he’ll plead with her to remember how much they cared about each other. Charlie will be desperate to keep this relationship intact, so Claire may end up unsettled as his pleas escalate.
Fortunately, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will interrupt and warn Charlie to back off. He’ll make it clear that Charlie needs to stay away from Claire, so Charlie may scram out of fear the necktie killer might do some serious damage!
Claire should appreciate Ben’s efforts to protect her, but she’ll still be brokenhearted over Charlie’s dark side and their lost love. Speaking of lost love, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) obviously feels a hole in her heart where her father’s love should be.
Gwen just revealed she’s Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) daughter, which should leave him in disbelief on Friday.
Jack may insist this is just another one of Gwen’s lies – and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) might back him up on that. Nevertheless, Gwen will tell her sob story from the very beginning.
Jack apparently got some woman pregnant during his time in Europe and the result was a wee little Gwen – one who grew up struggling without money or the attention of a doting daddy.
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) has been targeted in particular because she’s the daughter Jack cared for. Gwen feels like Abigail’s had a much better life than her, so that’s why she set out to destroy it.
Of course, Gwen targeted the rest of the Deveraux clan while she was at it. She’ll unleash her anger over feeling abandoned, but Jack may think Gwen’s got it all wrong.
Did Jack even know Gwen existed? Why not just come to Jack and tell him the truth? Jack might’ve accepted Gwen, but she may argue it was far too late for that.
Gwen allowed her rage to build up for years, so she had no desire to connect as father and daughter. She might contend that Jack only has room in his heart for his precious Abigail – and then a tad left to spare for JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss).
As for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), he’ll stun Abigail by revealing that Gwen is her half-sister. Abigail will find out that Gwen was the one who drugged her, which kicked off this entire plot against her family.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad will give Abigail updates on his enlightening conversation with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) and how the doc spilled the beans about Gwen’s motives.
Afterward, Abigail will find Jack and wonder if it’s true – if Gwen is really his daughter. Jack may compare the details of Gwen’s story with his own memories of sleeping with a woman in England.
Once Jack really thinks about it, he may admit that it all adds up. It definitely explains Gwen’s fury!
At DiMera Enterprises, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will make her presence known and catch Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) off guard. Kate just found Jake in an extremely compromising position with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), so she may wonder if Jake has something to share.
Jake will likely push Gabi off him and insist this was all her doing. He’ll assure Kate that he’s still committed to her alone, but Gabi may suggest they’ll see about that. Before Gabi saunters out, she’ll let Kate know she doesn’t view her as real competition.
