Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, November 5, reveals that Belle Brady (Martha Madison) had a possession nightmare while Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) freaked over a baby premonition. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) also rejected Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), so here’s how it all went down on Friday’s Days episode.
At home, Belle woke up from a nightmare about Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) being possessed again. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) distracted Belle with lovemaking before revealing he had to stop by the hospital.
Since Belle was rattled over her dream, she decided she’d head over to the townhouse and check on Marlena.
At Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) apartment, they were amazed over Ciara being pregnant so soon.
Ciara told Ben she’d find out for sure at the hospital and pinky-promised they’d keep trying later if she wasn’t carrying a baby.
At the Horton house, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) took back her previous apology and declared that she had nothing to do with the loss of Gwen’s baby.
Abigail explained to Jack that Gwen miscarried before they fought on the staircase and THAT was what Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) was blackmailing her with.
Jack asked Gwen if this was true, so Gwen acted like Abigail must be off her meds or having some sort of psychotic break.
However, Abigail ultimately pulled out Gwen’s chart as proof and let Jack examine it. Jack glared at Gwen and acknowledged that the truth was all right there.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) ranted about how Abigail blamed herself for killing Gwen’s baby. Abigail left her family, so Chad felt Gwen was responsible for that.
Gwen lashed out over the way Abigail treated her, but Abigail felt deception was all Gwen knew. She suggested Gwen didn’t know how to love anyone but herself.
Abigail wished things could be different, but she said Gwen was toxic and that she didn’t want her sister in her life. Once Jack was alone with Gwen, he asked why she would do this.
Gwen argued that Abigail was wrong about her not being able to love. She finally felt how a daughter should feel about a father.
For the first time in Gwen’s life, she felt love in return and couldn’t bear the thought of losing that.
Gwen didn’t want to see Jack look at her with such contempt and anger – just like he was doing now.
Gwen knew their connection would be gone if Jack knew the truth and could see she was right. “Please, Dad,” Gwen begged on Friday’s Days episode.
Jack warned Gwen not to call him that and stormed out of the living room. Meanwhile, Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) realized DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) knew the truth about the timing of Gwen’s miscarriage.
DA Trask threatened to expose Gwen’s dirty little secret to Jack unless Xander gave her that $1 million in the briefcase.
Trask admitted she wanted to start a legal defense fund for undocumented immigrants as a way to honor Haley Chen (Thia Megia).
Xander complained about Trask using his money to do it, but he eventually relented and let her keep the money.
When Xander returned to the Horton house, he found Gwen crying over losing Jack. Xander muttered about “that bitch,” so Gwen wondered how he knew Abigail ratted her out.
Gwen explained the whole chart situation, so Xander realized Trask wasn’t the one who exposed the secret.
While Xander pulled Gwen close and told her everything was going to be OK, Abigail went home with Chad and expressed a sense of relief. She just felt horrible for Jack since she wasn’t sure his relationship with Gwen could survive this.
At the townhouse, Steve learned from Belle that John was supposedly off working a case. This was the first Steve was hearing about it, but he guessed it must be true if the information came from Marlena.
However, Steve called the office and realized no one else had heard anything about this case. He found Kayla and confessed he thought something was wrong since he couldn’t get in touch with John.
In the hospital waiting area on Friday’s DOOL episode, Ben told Shawn about Ciara’s positive pregnancy test. Although Ben was still nervous about having a baby, he was trying to move past his concerns and knew Ciara would be a great mom.
As for Ciara, she got a blood test done in an exam room. Ciara admitted to Kayla she was suddenly feeling scared about having a child, which Kayla thought was normal.
Kayla suggested having a baby was a big deal, but she assured Ciara it was one of the most rewarding experiences.
Ciara talked about Ben being worried about his genes and abusive history, but she knew he’d be a wonderful father.
Afterward, Ciara joined Ben and Shawn before Kayla gave them pregnancy confirmation.
Ben scooped Ciara up with glee and took her home, where he insisted he had no more reservations and was so blessed to be having a baby with her. Suddenly, someone arrived at the door. When Ben opened up, Susan came barging in.
“I had a premonition about your baby!” a frantic Susan declared.
