Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will shift his focus from his career to his personal life. Of course, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is currently at the center of Xander’s world – and he’ll prove it with a marriage proposal soon.
However, we have to wonder if Xander and Sarah’s romance is really built to last.
Sarah does her best to keep Xander in line, but he’s a bad boy at heart! Would Xander be better suited to a woman who’s a bit of a bad girl herself?
Since no one ever lives happily ever after on a soap – especially not a couple this new to DOOL – perhaps we should consider another option for Xander.
What about Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) as a feisty woman for Xander? This love story between Gabi and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) certainly isn’t what the love story between Gabi and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) once was.
Not to mention it was weird for Gabi to be falling for Stefan’s twin in the first place!
If Days isn’t going to bring back Stefan to revive “Stabi,” maybe they could consider moving Gabi into a new romance with Xander. In Gabi and Xander’s recent scenes, they had an intriguing vibe between them and dare we say some sizzle.
Gabi is someone who often crosses the line herself, so she might bring out the worst in Xander in a pretty entertaining way.
Xander wouldn’t feel pressure to be perfect with Gabi. They could both be themselves and develop a relationship that was a lot like the one Gabi had with Stefan.
Sarah and Xander certainly haven’t reached a stage like John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) where they’ll just keep riding the waves. Xander has let Sarah down before and may do it again.
It seems like it might be tough for Xander to keep holding himself to Sarah’s high standards and going against his true nature.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will use Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) to rile up Jake and Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) in the coming weeks, but what then?
Philip isn’t a good match for Gabi and will inevitably reunite with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) down the road.
Gabi could use a love interest that she could actually fall for – somebody like Xander, who’ll need a new love interest of his own when “Xarah” inevitably fizzles one day.
Even Sarah and Xander’s possible marriage can’t stop more soapy obstacles from rolling in, so it’s wise to think about the future. A Gabi and Xander pairing is something to mull over considering how much alike they are.
