Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) may fight back after Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) blackmail threat becomes an issue. There’s a good chance Dr. Snyder helped Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) escape, so Gwen might make a discovery that forces a stalemate.
After Dr. Snyder threatens to spill the miscarriage truth, Gwen will realize she needs to come up with a new plan or else Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will hate her. After Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) decides to leave Salem, Gwen will have Daddy Dearest all to herself.
You can bet Gwen will love all the attention, especially since she’ll feel like Jack’s siding with her over her loathed half-sister. Of course, Gwen won’t want Jack to find out her miscarriage happened before that staircase tumble. That’s why it’ll be so crucial to keep Dr. Snyder’s mouth shut.
DOOL viewers know Gwen isn’t a wealthy woman – and Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest she can’t ask Jack for a boatload of money without raising suspicions. Assuming that Dr. Snyder indeed wants money, Gwen may realize she’ll never score enough to keep the doc quiet.
Nevertheless, Gwen surely won’t just throw in the towel and ruin all the progress she’s made with her father. Telling the truth would eliminate Dr. Snyder’s leverage, but Days spoilers insist that doesn’t have to be Gwen’s only option.
Gwen might decide that if Dr. Snyder is shady enough to blackmail one of his patients, then he must have some other secrets to uncover. Perhaps Gwen’s goal will be to blackmail Dr. Snyder right back and make sure both their secrets stay under wraps.
That brings us to the evidence Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) found on the security footage. DOOL fans will recall how Dr. Snyder was reluctant to hand that footage over and initially reminded Shawn that he needed a warrant for that.
Dr. Snyder also insisted there was no way Jan came out of her coma and managed to slip past all the hospital employees. There was just a little too much protesting going on, so Dr. Snyder may be hiding something huge.
Even after Belle and Shawn found evidence that Jan had woken up early and escaped, Dr. Snyder was quick to shift blame away from the hospital – and as a result, himself. Maybe Dr. Snyder is the one who helped Jan escape in the first place.
If Gwen finds out this information and uses it to her advantage, she may get rid of Dr. Snyder’s leverage and back him into a corner right along with her. We’ll bring you updates as other Days news pops up.
