Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) could have a few more tricks up her sleeve. Is anyone really buying the idea that Gwen has completely turned from her scheming ways?
Gwen spent months targeting Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and her loved ones, so it’s hard to believe she can just stop all her plotting and behave.
It’s true that Gwen seems to want a real relationship with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), but this pregnancy is a game-changer. Gwen will soon confirm that she’s indeed expecting a child, and she’ll claim Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is the father.
Now Gwen has a baby of her own to think about – one who’s going to need the dad she never had growing up. Days of Our Lives spoilers say this baby will become the priority, so that could certainly push Gwen back down a scheming path.
That’s especially true since Gwen never really meant to hurt Chad. He was just an unwitting pawn in her plot to destroy Abigail’s entire world. Gwen recently delivered an apology to Chad, who accepted it and has been trying to nudge Abigail in the direction of a truce.
DOOL writers may be putting Gwen and Chad on better terms for a reason. Chad isn’t the kind of guy who’d just abandon his child, so he’ll no doubt vow to be a good father if Gwen chooses to keep the baby.
It looks like Gwen will decide against terminating the pregnancy based on some upcoming Days spoilers – and that decision is bound to drive Abigail off the deep end!
DOOL fans can expect Abigail to spin out of control following this pregnancy drama, so she’s probably headed for another mental institution stint soon. That could leave Abigail locked up while Gwen’s free to scheme all over again.
It’s easy to imagine Gwen making a play for Abigail’s husband. Gwen could take advantage of Chad’s loneliness and pretend to bond over mutual guilt. She could also use this unborn child to pull Chad closer.
Perhaps Gwen’s goal could be forming a united family with Chad and her baby. Naturally, Gwen was quite beloved by Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Olivia and Oakley Rondou) during her time as a nanny to them.
Gwen would be willing to play the role of stepmom and could basically plot to take over Abigail’s whole fam.
Gwen would be highly motivated since her own mother was so terrible and Jack wasn’t in the picture growing up. This is Gwen’s chance to build a better future for her child, but it may come at Abigail’s expense!
