Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will open up to Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) about his current Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) crisis. Ben thought his nightmare was finally over after Ciara pulled through her surgery, but now he’s facing another horrible hurdle.
Jake will get updates on Ciara being unable to remember her love for Ben or anything that happened after her motorcycle accident. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will really feel for Ben since they’ve established a friendship.
Jake knows Ciara is Ben’s whole world and won’t want to see his buddy suffering like this. Since Jake will want to help, he’ll make an intriguing suggestion.
DOOL fans know there’s something that’s helped other Salemites when it comes to memory issues. Jake himself has some experience with it, so he’ll pitch an interesting idea and see what Ben thinks.
Of course, we’re talking about Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) famous memory serum! Jake wasn’t able to recall anything new after his own dose, but that’s because there was nothing missing to remember.
Days made Jake a twin instead of Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), so that’s why he didn’t recall Stefan’s life.
Ciara, on the other hand, is indeed the one and only. She’s missing memories that actually happened, so Jake will see the potential for Dr. Rolf’s memory serum to work in this case. However, Ben won’t be so sure that’s a good idea or that Ciara would even agree to take a dose.
After all, there are concerns about side effects every time a Salemite considers taking this serum. Ciara is going to make a full recovery and is only missing a few years.
That’s not a bad outcome in the grand scheme of things, so Ben will definitely worry about taking unnecessary risks. Harming Ciara is certainly not something Ben could ever get behind.
It’s probably not worth risking an adverse reaction that could leave Ciara in a vegetative state or dead. What’s really in Dr. Rolf’s strange serum and how might it affect Ciara?
For all Ben knows, it could backfire and result in more memory damage. This is the work of a wild DiMera doctor who values scientific breakthroughs over human lives.
Ben will run down the list of issues as he mulls over this memory serum possibility. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will decide against it – at least for now. Instead, Ben will try to jog Ciara’s memory the old-fashioned way, which means telling her their entire love story.
Once Ben convinces Ciara to stay calm and hear him out, he’ll have a chance to reveal the road that led to their marriage. Sadly, this won’t open the memory floodgates or bring any loving feelings for Ciara. Ben will be out of luck for now, but he won’t give up!
