Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) may freak over Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) marrying Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). DOOL fans could see Allie get jealous as old feelings rush back, so let’s discuss the engagement drama that seems to be brewing.
Johnny whisked Chanel off to Italy on a little adventure, so they’ll grow closer and return home with big news to share. It looks like Chanel and Johnny will be ready to take a huge step forward together, so they’ll probably reveal that they got engaged while they were on this trip.
Ever since Chanel planted that first kiss, Allie’s feelings for her have been confusing and complicated. It doesn’t seem like Allie’s ever taken the time to properly deal with how she truly feels about Chanel, but she’d better do it while she still can!
Allie has fallen harder for Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and declared her love for him not too long ago, but that doesn’t mean she’s put Chanel in the rearview mirror romantically. Allie may soon realize she can’t keep burying her feelings and pretending she only wants friendship with Chanel.
Although Allie finally found a way to accept Chanel’s relationship with Johnny, that may be partly because she expects it to fail. Johnny doesn’t have a great track record with women, so Allie probably hoped her brother would blow it again and that would be that.
Instead, Johnny has been the perfect gentleman with Chanel and keeps drawing her in with an abundance of charm. It’s easy to see how Chanel might get swept up in the romance of it all and agree to a speedy marriage proposal.
However, Allie will no doubt object if an engagement happens like Days spoilers suggest. Her jealousy could become a real problem for Tripp and make Chanel wonder if there’s still hope to be with Allie. Of course, that could leave Chanel torn about whether she should commit to a Johnny marriage or pump the brakes.
