Allie will have a hard time wrapping her head around the idea that Marlena was under the devil’s control, but she’ll get John to corroborate the story.
John will admit that what Will Horton (Chandler Massey) wrote in the Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) story script is true – that Marlena was indeed possessed and ultimately had to undergo an exorcism.
Since Allie will be asking questions and this script will serve as a reminder, the possession will be on John’s mind.
John will have a bad feeling about this film and really won’t want Johnny to make it.
Of course, John’s fears will be proven right when Marlena gets possessed once again.
Days spoilers say John will be in a unique position since he knows Marlena better than anyone and has seen the warning signs of the possession before.
In other words, it won’t take John long to realize the devil’s controlling Marlena once it happens.
DOOL spoilers state that John will try to take action, but Marlena won’t just sit back and allow that in this evil state. She’ll know she’ll just face another exorcism if she doesn’t do something to John first.
Marlena will hold John hostage to keep him from getting rid of the devil inside.
That’ll also prevent John from spilling the secret and stopping the chaos this wicked version of Marlena wants to unleash.
John will be stuck once this storyline really gets going, so he’ll either need a hero or an escape plan to end this nightmare.
