Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that May sweeps will bring some high stakes and surprising pairing possibilities. It’s wise to expect the unexpected in Salem – and that’ll be particularly true in the month ahead. Here are some May sweeps highlights so you’ll know what to look forward to.
For starters, Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will pat herself on the back prematurely when it comes to Belle Brady (Martha Madison) going down for Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) murder.
Jan won’t be able to avoid suspicion for long, especially once Belle and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) figure out a couple new clues. In the end, Jan will work hard to keep herself out of prison by taking a hostage and accidentally scoring an extra.
Meanwhile, Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) swap plan will fall apart as well, so look for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to find out Kristen’s been posing as Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) all this time.
Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will be drawn together after Kristen dumps Jake wearing a Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) mask. The effects of Kristen’s scheme could linger if Jake makes his move with Gabi while Kate’s held captive.
There’ll definitely be a reconnection of some sort between Gabi and Jake soon, so we can assume some passion may be involved!
As for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), he’ll blackmail his way into a new job and find a fresh path for himself – perhaps one that’ll help him get over the pain of losing Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
Other Days spoilers say Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will land in grave danger. These two will go to great lengths to sell the brain tumor lie and make Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) believe Lucas is knocking on death’s door.
However, it’ll be Sami and Lucas who land in a life-or-death situation down the road. DOOL spoilers say it’ll force them to face their feelings when they fear the end is near.
Over with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), their feud will explode in brand-new ways. After Gwen tumbles down the staircase during a fight with Abigail, it looks like she’ll lose the baby and want criminal charges filed against her half-sister.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will burn with jealousy over Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) growing connection.
After Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) extends his stay in the Congo yet again, Nicole will revert to her old “bad girl” ways and do something that could destroy her marriage.
That could mean Nicole will hook up with Rafe, but that depends on whether he’s on board! Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will also have to figure out what lines he wants to cross after Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) is halfway around the world building a new life with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson).
Will Ben take a chance on a new romance with Claire Brady (Isabel Durant)? Claire and Ben will realize their bond is perhaps growing beyond friendship, but they’ll have to decide if they want to take things to the next level or pull back.
As for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), all signs point to Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) being someone she was romantically entangled with in London.
The girls enjoyed the club scene there, but Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will soon find that Chanel and Allie’s history may involve more than gal pal status.
Chanel will do her best to settle down with the support of Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), but it’ll be close quarters once Chanel’s living under the same roof. When you throw in the twins, it’ll really be a full house.
