Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, January 18 Recap - Ava Places Charlie In London - Chloe Stands Up To Brady

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, January 18, reveal that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) talked with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) in Brady’s room at the Salem Inn.

Philip said that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) had dissolved the shell company that he was using to launder money for the mob, and now the mob would surely come after him.

Soon, Angelo Vitali (Angelo Tiffe) called Philip angry that all the money from the shell company was gone. Philip decided that he needed a place to hide, and Chloe said that Philip could stay in her room.

Brady said no way, but Chloe blasted Brady, saying that they weren’t married anymore and that he didn’t have a say over her choices.

Brady urged Philip to find another place to hide, but Philip accepted Chloe’s offer, much to Brady’s chagrin. Brady fumed that Philip was using the situation to get close to Chloe, but Chloe wouldn’t hear it, and she and Philip left to go to her room in the Inn. Brady was peeved.

Meanwhile, over at Titan, Xander told Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) that Philip knew about their plot against him. When Xander told Sarah about the mob possibly coming after Philip, Sarah insisted on calling Rafe Hernndez (Galen Gering). Xander didn’t like the idea, but Sarah insisted.

At the Salem PD, Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) was griping at Rafe about Charlie Dale’s (Mike C. Manning) release from custody when Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) showed up and was upset to hear that Charlie made bail.

Rafe assured Allie that he was going to build a strong case against Charlie, and that if she could remember Charlie attacking her in London, it would help.

Rafe even suggested hypnosis, and he cautioned Allie not to go see Charlie, since he’s dangerous. Just then, Sarah called Rafe and said that she and Xander had a situation over at Titan.

Rafe soon arrived at Titan, where Sarah said that Philip’s life could be in danger, but she didn’t want to offer more information.

Rafe said that there was nothing he could do without more information, and that Philip should give him a call. Rafe then said that he needed to take Xander down to the station about a kidnapping. Xander and Sarah each looked shocked.

At the hospital, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) entered Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) room wondering where Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) was, since he was supposed to be there with her.

Ava got agitated and worried that maybe Charlie did something to Tripp. Steve assured Ava that Tripp was fine, and he got on the phone to call Tripp.

At Charlie’s apartment, Charlie told Tripp that he made bail, and Tripp lashed out over Charlie’s actions toward Ava and Allie. Charlie made lame excuses, saying that he restrained Ava for her own good and that he never raped Allie.

Charlie blasted Tripp, saying that he was Ava’s “golden boy,” and he recounted the story about how Ava rejected him as a child.

Charlie said that his entire life had been about getting Ave to notice that he exists. Tripp disclosed some of his bad childhood to Charlie, but he insisted that Charlie didn’t have the right to hurt Allie.

Charlie insisted that nothing Ava said was true, and Tripp thought that if Charlie confessed and disclosed his bad childhood, then maybe the cops would cut him a break.

Tripp seemed to be getting through to Charlie, but then Steve called. Tripp told Steve that he was sorry and to tell Ava that he’d see them both soon. That infuriated Charlie and he threw Tripp out. Later, Charlie kicked the coffee table in frustration and left a voice mail for Claire Brady (Isabel Durant).

Back at the hospital, Tripp arrived in Ava’s room and told Ava and Steve about his run-in with Charlie. Ava then disclosed through conversation that Charlie had been in London when Allie was raped because she sent him there to get information on Tripp. Steve left to go pass that information on to the cops.

Finally, in town square, Allie and Nicole strolled with Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox). Allie worried about how she was going to someday tell Henry about how he was conceived, and Nicole suggested that Allie talk to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about that.

Allie said that she was considering hypnosis to remember that night, but that it would be hard to relive.
