Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, September 6, teases that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will reject Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) pregnancy proposal while Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) investigates shady Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman).
While on their camping trip, Ben will disappoint Ciara by shutting down her baby plan. He won’t see why they should speed through their newlywed phase, especially since they’ve been waiting a long time for this reunion.
Ben will want to delay starting their family, which will frustrate Ciara since she’s ready for the next step. The thought of holding Ben’s bundle of joy will delight Ciara, but he won’t think the timing is right.
Of course, Ciara knows Ben awfully well and can tell when he’s not being completely honest. She should ultimately sense that Ben has another reason for dismissing this kid plan so quickly.
The truth is Ben’s scared of passing down deadly tendencies like the ones he used to have.
DOOL fans can’t forget that dangerous behavior runs in Ben’s family since Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause) was unhinged before her own death.
Plus, Clyde Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) was abusive and has been known to kill when given the chance. There’s also the matter of the necktie killer history that still troubles Ben to this day.
Ben is a changed man thanks to therapy and medication, but his past and twisted family will be on his mind during this baby-making conversation.
Back in Salem, Steve will put Calista through a grilling session and try to figure out what her deal is.
Steve knows Calista and Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) have some bad blood, so he’ll go on a fishing expedition and hope to nail down some details.
As for Calista, she’ll engage in some flirty banter and have some fun with Steve as he investigates.
Across town, Days spoilers say Bonnie will somehow wiggle out of the tight spot she’s landed in. There’s a chance Bonnie will sneak under the bed and hide out until the coast is clear, but that could be tricky.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) scored Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) reinstatement at Titan, so he’s expecting to talk out of that suite with his $1 million – the same $1 million that Bonnie’s been frantically packing into a bag.
Bonnie’s best bet would be to discreetly steal the remainder of the cash and tell EJ she forgot something when she stopped by to invite Xander to the wedding.
It’d be an easy excuse and would allow a quick getaway.
Whatever the case, Bonnie will indeed score the $1 million minus Xander’s bail money.
Bonnie will plan to deliver it to Calista, but Xander will soon open that briefcase and fly into a rage. It won’t take Xander long to realize Bonnie must’ve been behind this.
Next, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will hold off on telling Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) the whole truth.
Jack wants to know what kind of dirt Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) had on Gwen, but she won’t spill the truth about her pre-tumble miscarriage just yet.
That may be because Jack’s set to deal with another important matter at Julie’s Place.
Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) will lock Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in a freezer and wander off, so Jack will rush over and break Julie out of there.
After Jack gives Julie a blanket and hears her scary story, Days spoilers say they’ll wonder what’s up with Doug.
It sounds like Doug may be suffering from dementia, but Julie will hold out for another explanation as they go on the hunt for her husband.
