Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that there’s some great news for fans of the NBC soap. DOOL viewers have been anxiously awaiting official word on the show’s renewal – and it’s finally here! According to official reports, NBC has picked up Days of Our Lives for two more seasons.
This is everything Days fans have been hoping for and more since it means we don’t have to worry about any renewal news for a while. There’ll be plenty of fantastic drama happening for the next two years, so we can all breathe a sigh of relief and just enjoy the new episodes that are headed our way.
Days of Our Lives hasn’t been picked up for more than one year at a time since 2014, so it’s exciting to see some faith being shown in DOOL and its future. Although insiders have been predicting a positive outcome, it’s still nice to know with certainty that Days will continue through its 57th and 58th seasons.
Since all signs pointed to a pickup, Days of Our Lives producers have been making deals in advance of this confirmation. One of those deals involved a new contract for Robert Scott Wilson (Ben Weston), so that should make all the Ben fans out there happy!
Ben and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) still have more chapters to tell of their love story, so it’s important to lock Wilson in. As for Konefal, she’ll continue to make visits as a recurring player – though we’ll pass along updates if anything changes regarding her status.
Jackée Harry is also being bumped up from a recurring player to full-time. Now that this renewal news is official, that’s a done deal and means we’ll see a lot more of Paulina down the road.
